Hey, OR, can I interrupt your Synbad take-down to get your take on Carlton 2015?
This "debate" (or lament) has been missing your input - probably no secret why - but I think plenty of posters would be interested in your perspective on the club/coach etc.
Hey Kenny,
Thanks.
I've clearly been distracted by the funny boy, my apologies.
No matter what I say it will be derided by the negative posts which will flow incessantly.
I've got clear views, insights and like many others, bias' about what's occurring & where we are at.
Like more and more on here I'm learning that it's best to say nothing, as it's no longer a forum for blues fans but more a site for being smashed.
Anyway, here goes.
I reckon we have 3+ years of mediocrity ahead. We also have the nucleus of a good team/admin and will turn it around.
Our drafting has been appalling, as has our development.
SOS is a step in the right direction, yes GWS had a shitload of 1st round picks but he knows what type of player can play the modern game. He'll be a big positive for the club. He doesn't have a massive ego and wants to rebuild to what we were. He was dismayed about the quality of the club vs GWS when he first arrived. Professional vs amateur.
Trigg - tainted by crows days but very good get for the club given where we are at. He's a communicator and knows how to engage with members. A good get.
Malthouse - I've been a big fan, but it's time for change. Not that he can't coach or get players up in an us vs them approach, but rather we need a new fresh approach/engagement with young fans or risk missing an entire generation. We play an old style of footy, players are being forced to play against their natural style.
LoGiudice - right man for the times. Loves the blues, the fans and success. Passionate and has worked his arse off since taking over from Sticks. Seriously well connected. Knows how to run a business, ruthless and yet has a good life balance. Given time he'll turn it around.

Great post.
Post more often please.
I feel positive about SOS, can see a few beauties now talent wise...
and am so glad you agree re MM.
I'm all for him seeing out the contract.
That is the decent thing to do.
I'm all for a variety of voices and opinions.
However, repetitive, negative pummeling is draining and tiresome,
especially after we have a win!
It also detracts from any valid points the poster may have.
I also loved your posts in the Essendon* thread.,
They got many of us through a very bleak time.
Even though (so far) the bad guys won,
For me, your posts there were a ray of hope.
