Come on red back this whole club's a shitfight.
They need to hit rock bottom.
Malthouse knows how to rebuild a club, bringing in a new coach now is knee jerk and would kill the coach and hold us back longer.
Supporters need to wake up, Carlton is a mess and Malthouse isn't the cause.
Every department has issues I’m not disputing that or arguing that point what I do know is that micky is in charge of the playing group and is responsible for the results
If you think that the board has drawn up the insipid game plan for us you are sadly mistaken
I don't think think they tell mick to play the boundary, the bomb, 4/5 taggers or pick the side
If you believe that micky didn’t have a major say in our drafting and recruiting you would again be wrong
Last year we used the excuse of the majority of the list having off season surgery but this year we are supposed to be fitter, do you see it, I don’t, again mickys friend
If you don’t think that inspiring your players is a coach’s responsibility, then I don’t think that you have been involved in any sporting club at any level anywhere in the world but let me assure you that's exactly what he is there for
and he is accountable and responsible for the players and their on field performances an no one else
this is his third year and has made an abundance of personnel changes and major decisions so he has had plenty of time to show some type, any type of improvement but we haven't seen it
FGS he even made the excuse that these players are new and haven't played together (WTF)
one excuse after another
!@#$ off mick
I don't agree with every side that is picked each week.
I don't think the players he has brought in have been a mistake (the jury is still out on the latest crop)
If I needed a coach or boss for that matter to inspire me to achieve I would give up the game. Responsibility, effort, commitment. They aren't children they should be self motivated to produce these basic standards.
This is going to take time and more changes. A new coach just delays the inevitable and probably turns over the next coach, which this industry does at the drop of a hat.
