Well who the @#$%&! is going to update the tally every hour now that Kezza's been cheated out of $17?

Do the $50 true blue memberships count?

Yep....

Quote:
The AFL requires that $50 is spent in some kind of membership package for it to count officially as a membership. That minimum spend figure has been reduced in recent seasons. Some clubs sell one-game "memberships" in packages that might also include club apparel while others do not offer one-game "memberships" and quietly scoff at the notion.

Just a question for the interstate members on here (particularly those WA-based) - If I purchase an interstate membership this year, what are my chances of:

b) Also getting a ticket for my wife to come along with me when she's not a member (she vaguely supports Drug Cheats FC  :screwy: :bonk: )

Can only speak from an SA point of view, but I assume it would be much the same.

Interstate supporters are allocated 2 bays and you'll receive a letter explaining how to get first crack at tickets. Your membership entitles you to "free" entry, but you'll still have to pay a reserved seat excess. Think it was something like $17 per tickets last time.

For this reason (and the fact the Blues aren't coming here this year  ), it's actually better value for me - even as an SA based member - to buy the 3 home game $95 membership over the interstate $143 membership. I still get first access to finals tickets as well as all the other membership entitlements but that's another story for another time......

From memory each adult member was entitled to buy up to 2 tickets, but of course check with the club. We received the letter around 4 - 6 weeks before the game and tickets go quick.

Once the allocated bays are filled there are no other members tickets. You have to try your luck in the public sale. The interstate membership doesn't guarantee you a seat.

Yeah - fair call - that is worthy of skull cracking/feasting on the nectar goo inside.

Even if you offered to take it in club shop credit or something.

Thanks mate!

That's exactly why I was asking - to weigh up whether I get the interstate membership or the 3 game membership. Considering the Blues play over here twice this year, I think I will grab the interstate.

We are ahead of our record year at the same point.
Just gotta show something in the first few rounds, make a couple of calls to BM and JP and we are home and hosed.

Essendon* are 47,729.

If they get lengthy bans before the season starts, you'd think that will drop right off. And if we nab a few wins in our opening rounds, you'd think we'll continue to climb.

@#$%&! I hope we're ahead of them, or at least really close, by seasons' end.

Should get a heap more in, but are you pissing people who have already signed (loyal members) off?

Where did you read/hear that? I will be really pissed off if that is the case.

Instagram is where I first saw it, but also...

It seems Sam Lane's article really got supporters on board.
Good to see.
(It is a shame that all of us loyal members who signed up early got dudded. Yes, Rhino, I am still having trouble letting this go.)

The memberships I pay for are $840 so $84 is nothing to be sneezed at.

I think you should go into the Carlton Shop and start handing out free stunners to everyone.
Give them to the mannequins too.

I just had a quick look at a couple of club membership pages, Baby and Digital memberships are at or above $50. I assume these also go toward the totals.
