Love how the players are getting away scott free again, and its all Micks fault for hurting the poor darlings; feelings.
Tend to agree. Expectations and accountability has increased. Some have stepped up, some have fallen away.
You'd think a guy whose been in the caper for 30 years, and is famous for his man management skills would know what he's doing. But no, not at Carlton. He's a dud and he's lost the players apparently.

Agree, as soon as Garlett, Waite and Curnow aren't at the club we'll be a powerhouse.
Can we delist them now ala Bootsma?
Lol
Ironically waite has been a serviceable key forward for years
Garlett has been pretty good, a yr or two ago he was our 2nd leading goal kicker at the club.
Curnow has been pretty serviceable for last cpl years.
Maybe this stagant, slow down the game, kick along the wing and to contests all the time has limited waite and garlett from performing to their best.
I think garlett wants out of the club as he isnt motivated playing under malthouse. If he isnt chasing he will be traded and once traded im sure he will recapture that 45 goal+ season.
As for waite, limited ball use and always playing in contested marking contests always limits his potential. But lets blame waitey. When he doesnt play we rarely win by history.
Really cant believe the crap out of malthouse. He is too old school. Do this or I put u in reserves. Sometimes that works and sometimes it doesnt. What motivates players is winning the most. Not being singled out for a old school game plan that is dysfunctional in todays game.
Cfc should start the auto renewal process for memberships now. I dont think malthouse gives members any hope of future success. Will be dropping like flies next year. Its got to the stage of blaming individual players and not taking any accountability. It is his fault he cant get them motivated and that is his job.
Waite has been an erratic forward for years, not a serviceable forward. Hes similar to Fev. Peter Pan syndrome. A child's mind in an adults body. He's lazy and immature. He just doesn't get it.
As for Jeffy G, for someone who doesn't want to play under Mick, who was our leading goalkicker last year, and who was coaching us then ?
Ever think that Jeffy isn't in a good headspace right now, and footy might be the last thing on his mind ? No, its Mick's fault.
