Best "22", IMO,
???? Jamison Buckley
Tuohy Henderson Simpson
???? Cripps Docherty
Yarran ???? Menzel
???? ???? ????
Warnock/Kreuzer Murphy
I/C; ???? ???? ???? ????
This is why where we are.......
Have been kind to some players also...
Needs;
1. Two key forwards
2. Another tall defender
3. 4/5 mids/utility types
Long way to go, but would be nice if the club acknowledged this..
Unfortunately certain players will continue to play afl when clearly they are not good enough..
Maybe Thomas will come good,
Too harsh on Gibbs, Walker, Everitt and Garlett???
The club NEEDS to make tough calls on players, not sentimental ones...
Ie; great club man, have decent player give him another 2 year contract... Enough...
Maybe I am being to harsh, just over this average club and something needs to happen..

Saw stats last night night that showed our side at the weekend with an average age of nearly 26 and an average of 88 games.

Usually those are the stats of a side pushing for Top 4. Could of been worse when you think Scotland, Judd & Walker weren't playing. Our list is so unbalanced and in decay it's not funny.

The rest of the year needs to be about playing Graham, Watson, McInnes, Bootsma, Cachia, Johnson, Temay, Holman, Giles, Cripps etc. Not every game and not all at once but they need to play. We need to see if they have anything to offer and are worth keeping. Like Buckley we may find a bit of gold. Worst case is we get some game time into our kids.

We aren't going to win a Premiership this year, won't even make finals, why would we be doing anything else?

I don't talk Kreuzer down, I love the bloke. But he's not worth anywhere near pick 1 and to suggest the Giants would have entertained it is pure nonsense.

..i'm not suggesting, but rather commenting on what was going on.. ..you really think it went to the board, and the hard word pushed on krooz, if giants thought it nonsense..?.. ..keep in mind it's not just me saying this, other have as well, ppl with inside word.. ..also, keep in mind that at that time no-one knew how injured his foot was.. ..other rucks get hype, cos krooz went pick one he gets flak, but krooz had half a year of highest champ data ranking as an all round ruck, and his goal assist was elite.. ..and his injuries have all been due to him pushing back hard to help our defenders, an indictment on our team that our ruck works harder and runs back faster than everyone else, but that work ethic is massive for rucks..

..some ppl's evaluation of krooz gets clouded by us playing him hurt, and other games out of position.. ..but when fit as first ruck he is very, very good..

..after krooz said no, giants chased mummy.. ..who is older, more injury prone, shorter and not as good as krooz.. ..mummy is on a juice contract over there..

They approached us the year before as well. I can remember someone (Sheedy, I think) from GWS publicly suggesting that we were stupid for knocking them back, the implication being that they thought we were a long way off of a flag.

No I don't. I don't believe any of it happened. I don't believe it went to the board…. the Giants entertained it…the board vetoed it…..any of it.

People like who? Tru Blu?
I haven't read corroboration from anyone credible. Perhaps GWS may have shown an interest in Kruezer for a pick outside of the first round but to suggest they were willing to part with pick 1 belongs on SEN IMHO.

..yep, they also chased him hard during their poaching period when he was still in rehab form the knee, offered him a gaz deal (better than Scully).. ..krooz doesn't want t leave the club, is not interested in any kind of move, we would have to burn him badly for him to leave..

if we were offered anything amazing for K... he would have been on his way to QLD in the cargo section of the plane... nobody would have skittled that
Maybe 4 years ago... but his limitations are overly apparent right now...

.a couple of ppl, but I remember doc Sherrin was mightily upset that we couldn't force the move, due to aflpa rules, he is of the opinion a club is the only entity with any say in transfers.. ..i'd agree if there were no salary cap, but you can't limit earning potential and then just trade them Willy nilly..

..now might be different, but this was before we knew how bad the foot injury is.. ..also krooz said no, and you can't force him..

..BV, you don't need to believe it.. ..think what you will, but giants have been chasing krooz for years.. ..naturally if we have broken him they won't be as keen now, plus the fact krooz kept telling them no has to wear thin after a while..

..I don't think so, we just keep playing him out of position..

not talking about how hes been positioned kahuna..
just what the perception is inside the club and outside.
he has been struggling...

im the biggest fan of him outside of u

but we cant possibly afford to not explore possibilities... and the chances are we wouldnt get number 1-12 or 15

..I have no idea how his rehab is going beyond club comment.. ....but part of the reason he would be struggling is because he knows we won't play him as first ruck now, and we want to offload him.. ....that will drag most players down.. ..that being said, he is still the only match winning ruck we have played in over a decade..

..we may very well trade him, with poor return.... ..and unless his foot is buggered, his new club will play him as first ruck, and they will be very happy and we will be crying.. ..injuries notwithstanding, I'd bank on that.... ..and it serves us right..

If this is how we are going to clean out the list and problems at Carlton, I heard that Lucas, Watson, Carrazzo, Waite and the whole Carlton Board were doing exactly what Bootsma was doing as well ;)

It would be helpful if Carrots decided his body wasn't up to it and resigned from the last year of his deal as well. Probably wouldn't save us $$ but would clear another spot.

Waite has to be shown the door. Just because of gross stupidity if nothing else. I understand Hawthorn won a flag with Campbell Brown, but as a general rule I don't think teams win flags with imbeciles on the list.

Being an imbecile, Waite might not understand why he is being shown the door. I think you might also have to push him through and then quickly lock it.

Anyone see AFL 360 tonight? Hit it right on the head.

We are in "No Man's Land". Time to rebuild starting now. By the year's end a decision needs to be made whether MM is the coach to rebuild the list as it will take 3-5 years if done properly.

Comments about how disillusioned supporters are, club is sending mixed messages and doesn't stand for anything etc.

I think we should change from #UNITED to #TIMEFORCHANGE
