I've heard Megaman works in a lab.

Do you think he could get this done?

Ok you might have convinced me...
We've got some great gear in our lab - anything is possible.

In my view Laidler & Duigan both have to start in round one. Our defece has more holes in it than Swiss cheese and we got slaughtered by turnovers coming out of defence last year. In the longer term I see Laidler as more of a midfielder as Carrots & Scotland start to fade out and Murphy takes the GWS money & runs. However, in the short term he will at least release Gibbs from defence, which will benefit both Gibbs & Carlton.

They'll both play. Laidler can play as a flanker or on a taller player depending upon match up. His kicking will also be vital. Duigan is the strong body we need to zone off and assist Bower and/or Jamo when caught one on one. His kicking will improve as he gets used to pace of game.

A new look defence with Laidler, Duigan, Watson, White, Touhy and Yarran (all very good kicks and have ability to run and carry) included will be a key to us moving up the ladder in 2011.

This is the side I believe that by years end can beat Collingwood:

B: Touhy Jamison Laidler
HB: Yarran Watson Duigan Gibbs

C: Warnock Judd Murphy Waite Curnow Simpson

HF: Russell Henderson Walker
F: Garlett Kruezer

Int: Lucas Robinson Ellard Sub: Scotland/Armfield/Houlihan

Lots of rotations and options. Priority is kicking and we have some real hardness.
Goalkicking options and flexibility.

You're a dream weaver. I have full confidence in you. As horrible Duigan robbed us of Seedsman and Siposs, we need to combine them to win a premiership.

Heavs mentioned it's possible in Norway, so surely it should be easy for you. My avatar is what he should look like as a guide.

I'm not sure if either are any good though. All I know is the shit-fest scumbag that is Duigan who I have never liked and have always hoped would fall into a large pit robbed us of at least one of them. As such I feel if we had both combined it would right these recruiting wrongs.

Not sure, but as long as we get them to sign consent forms we'll be right. I'll just borrow one from another study, not like anyone will read it

Think we could get Danky in to drug both of them so they wouldn't realise what they're agreeing to?

Perhaps we can stick to discussing Nick Duigan's retirement in this thread before anyone get's bored with it.

Has officially retired and will placed on the LTI list.
Will always be remembered for the Richmond game.

In the end its neither here nor there.
He wouldn't have added anything much this year and now it gives a rookie more of a run.
Sounds alight.

Agree, as he should be, was also very solid in his first year, one game in particular against North was fantastic (along with Laidler). I certainly won't look at his time at Carlton as a failure.

In time the tigers final will be the stuff of legends.

All the best to Duigan loved win against tigers in the final and his part in it - tough and brave - 2011 season excellent -should be proud of his efforts reminded me a bit of steven da rui -not in build but in ability ,pace and got best out of himself - just in the end didn't have enough talent and injury got him
hope he goes on to have a great career in his profession -hope he knows that carlton people salute him for his contribution

weird thing is, if we had the perfect list, all players gems, well blow me down we'd have to delist three of them for unknowns.
