left at start of 4th. along with most other fans. bloody freezzzzzzing.

this is the team that ALWAYS lets you down.
This is a team of passengers.
Right now we play like MM's personality.
Dour and grumpy.
Noflair, no joie de vivre, no artistry. not even moments of joy to be had in a developing side.
just loss after loss.
we've beaten one side from Victoria this year.

So who coach it tonight ?
Can only coach what's put in front of you. The problem of so many bad years and tanking for picks is the culture goes out the window. Hence when the going gets tough players go missing. Can take years and years to get around.

Hopefully we've found the right bloke to sort that out even if it means players turnover and a few years. He did with the Pies. Went from 16th to 15th to a GF two years later.

Hang on !!

Last year it was all about Ratts matchday coaching being Shit. If anyone questioned the players they got "you will find Mick will get the best out of these players and you will find they will really blossom".

We are learning this year what we (everyone but Mick) already knew.

We have taken a massive leap backwards. Not one of them 'one step back two step forward' ones either.

Wayne Hughes better not be on our recruiting panel as he has a lot to answer for in so far as compiling this list!!!! Would have to have the worst record during his tenure as Head of Recruitment!!!!

Clearly need a full rebuild. Is MM planning to stick around for a significant period to see it through?

If not, what next?

What a mess.

Need wholesale changes on and off field including the board.

Bit hard to do anything when the ball doesn't get past half way.

Henderson didn't get much of a sniff forward either.

And they kick the ball backwards and sideways....

I agree.
Time to play a few of these in the twos and see if Mitchell, McArthy, Laidler and co are going to be part of the list next year. No matter if we finish 14th or lower.
Trade everybody who has value and who doesn't fit the strategic plan. Trade for picks.
The window, which was only ever really slightly ajar has shut.

Go for Boyd and build a team around him. I have officially changed my mind about getting Daisy unless we are going to build a midfield around him. It would have made sense to get him if we needed one or two players to challenge but we need about ten.

I thought Jamo (even though he was beaten on the night) Lucas, McInness, Kreuzer, Robbo at the end, Walker, Simmo, Touhy and Yarran at the death could look the rest of their mates in the eyes after the game. The rest were pathetic.

How will Collingwood be able to fit their ten missing players into that group?
Almost as bad as last year when we got done by the GCS seconds.

It's Friday morning at 0800 hre and my weekend is already ruined.

Oh! Congratulations to the club on getting 50,000 members. Have fun trying to keep them next year.

When we were looking good in the first 20 mins...I mean really good I noticed Walker wasnt switched on.
I thought after we thrash them I'm going to bring up his first quarter.
Then it spread through the team.

They took the game on.
We went sideways and backwards.
Their reckless abandonment ...or greater desire and confidence....reduced us to bull dust.

Shocking. Shocked, Appalled. They did not apply themselves to the task and too soft in the midfield.
Does Diesel want to put the boots on.
We need tough hard at it footballers...Hodge like, Swan like...just in shape for a start.

Midfield got smashed.
Kreuzer got smashed....after qtr time.

Not a rebuild just get us players we need to add to win a flag; thst's all.

Always hard to teach old dogs new tricks. Mick will have to bring in the type of players who are going to believe in his game plan. It's a lot easier to teach the younger players how he wants the team to play. Tonight's performance bar the first 20 minutes was pretty ordinary. If we are still playing the same crap this time next season I will be concerned.

I'm out of here. A very good morning to you all. I'm going to do my annual list culling exercise during the week. I usually wait until the end of the season.

Hang on....

could not believe how quick the white flag went up

against a team of 50% plodders, I felt embarrassed watching it in my local with a couple of filth mates

I am done with this group, just too mentally weak

Levi is an easy target.

Where were Gibbs, Murphy, Betts, Garlett, Yarran, Touhy, Armfield and more?

Surely it's time for Laidler, Mitchell, Buckley, Graham and Menzel to get a good run at it

..been saying for a while, it's a big load for Levi to play fwd/ruck week after week.. ..not fit enough.. ..playing only 1 KPF, means that the 'resting ruck' isnt really resting much at all.. ..more'so when the 1 KPF you play is made of glass..

I know what you mean but big Casboult just gets walked around. No defense whatsoever. Has cost us big time over the last month.

If he plays we have to expect us to lose.
