Matthew Watson 2013. Still young. Possible
Luke Mitchell 2013. Coming from a long way back. Has played minimal footy in career. Needs patience
Marcus Davies 2013. Needs a good run injury free
Nick Duigan 2013. No, waste of pick
Edward Curnow (R) 2013. No
Aaron Joseph 2013, No
David Ellard 2013. Good rookie pick up
Andrew Collins. Like to see him get an injury free run
Psy I once read an interesting theory from a notable psychologist discussing one the typically recurring barriers to positive change, went something like this --> 'the more time you invest in an idea the harder it is to move past it, the mere notion that you may have to accept loss of investment is painful' How long can you persist Psy? lets be honest, the clubs already invested reasonable effort in exploring their potential, there needs to be reasonable signs of progress which IMO there isn't. better to cut them loose give them a chance elsewhere and give the club a chance to explore other opportunities. enough is enough..

Agree. The only change to that is we have a new coaching/development regime and they must be given the chance to assess without previous bias.
I have said in other posts that I expect to turn over a minimum of 8-10 players at years end. The point is we cant do it to then. MM will use this year to make his own assessment regarding players.
Guys like Mitchell, McCarthy, Watson, Collins, OKeefe, Davies, Duigan, Curnow, Dale, Cachia (still dont get it), Hampson need to show a marked improvement and ability to handle AFL football this year or they will be gone.
That's why some the responses from supporters proclaiming (that we have sufficiently talented list who has under performed in the 3 rounds to date) perplexes me. FFS when you cut past your top 5 or 6 (who are a year older than last year, 2 years other than 2 years ago, 3 years older than 3 years ago) still persist on the starting talent bench mark as being being "a kick away from an elimination final" 23,345676 years ago. The teams that beat us thus far this year (only just), are not at the same level as they were several years ago, as painful as it may be to accept they have improved so the comparisons are bullshiat.
Fact is our current developed depth is shiathouse, our proven players are older than they were 23,345676 years ago..Try out the rest of those eligible on the list to see what they have to offer, get a team oriented play style in place, pi$$ off the players that aren't gonna improve your team to the level required and lets move the faaark on.
