oh, and Duigs. Laidler & or Duigs, plus '1 to 2' plus Warnock.

Need to get structure rights and cut our losses on some players.

B: Collins Jamison Laidler
HB: Walker White Scotland

C: Gibbs Tuohy Yarran
Foll: Warnock Judd Murphy

HF: Garlett Henderson Robinson
F: Betts Casboult Rowe

Int: Bell Carrazzo McLean Ellard

White at CHB releasing Hendo fwd. Laidler as third man up and assisting.
Davies stays if Laidler doesn't come in. Was solid last night and did his role well.
Collins tried as small defender. He will put his head over ball and does create run. I see Temay filling that role when ready.
Jamo on Kennedy, White on Darling. McCarthy on Kennedy would be interesting?
IMO Walker is a gun defender who can pinch hit forward when needed.
Yarran needs to play up ground and work hard as a creative midfielder. It's time to step up. Too many skills not to. I believe Betts may play this week.
Tuohy on the ball with Bell, McLean and Ellard doing hard grunt work and increasing tackle pressure. Lucas is improving but needs to work on defensive side. It is poor.
Without Waite, Casboult comes in. No other real option. May enjoy space of subiaco. The other option is too play McCarthy or Watson at CHB and have White up forward. At least he leads to right spots and Rowe can be big man in square.
Simpson out for me. Been great but struggling since breaking jaw. Needs to go and get confidence back if he can.
If Gibbs injured Buckley stays. Only question on Buckley is engine. Seems to play mainly as small fwd and we have heaps of them. Can he develop into a mid, because he has the skills.
If tagging use Ellard. Carrazzo is a ball magnet and needs to play offensively and be creative.
Lots of midfield rotations to keep pressure up and create run. Some real size around ball which we ate lacking.
With space of Subiaco we also have forwards who can lead to right spaces.
Better kicking side.

Long shot? Cachia to come in as a tagger.

Over the next few weeks we will hopefully look at adding Waite, Graham, Temay, Menzel, McCarthy, Bootsma, OKeefe, Dale to that side.

Interesting take. Collins has I think just come back into the 2s and I doubt is ready for the 1s let alone asking him to do a role down back. Perhaps give a run down back in the 2s and if that goes well perhaps, but not this week for me. Laidler back is a fair call, personally I'd give him another week in the 2s as a forward to see how that goes. White in is a move i''d support. I'd count myself a Tuohy fan but I wouldn't have him in the centre with Bell Carrazzo Ellard and Mclean on the bench. Hendo forward is great as long as we can cover his absence down back and I am not sure we can. Your side has only 1 KD in Jamo with White Walker and Laidler as really 3rd tall types and you have 3 genuinely big men forward - Cas, Rowe and Hendo. Switch 1 of the 3 big forwards (not Cas) for 1 of the 3 third tall defenders and I think the balance is better. Remember WCE are likely to rest a ruckman forward as well as having Kennedy and Darling, you need at least 2 big bodies down back. I'd be keeping Hammer before Cas given the indifferent reports on Cas in the 2s and his previous 2 weeks. Hammer was good in round 1 but ofr his kicking in difficult conditions and round 3 can be excused
as he didn't look recovered from his op. Of course, if he isn't properly recovered then let him rest and possibly Casboult become necessary then. The alternative is to leave Warnock out again and ruck Hammer if he's fit with back-up from Rowe and/or Casboult, but Warnock has the recent form to justify selection, certainly ahead of Cas (unless judging primarilly as a forward). Can understand the call to drop Simmo and Buckley but I'm more inclined to give each another week, for diffefrent reasons. And if Eddie is right he is an automatic in and someone has to go for him.

Thank God Davies has to be dropped. He is an absolute liability. Costs goals week in week out. Cost two last night. We need bigger bodies. Laidler underdone so white in. AJ also a liability. Maybe duigan?
Our bottom 4-6 have been very aveerage each game. Can't wait to have a settled team with Betts, hopefully Waite and laidler all in and playing well.
Out: kreuzer, davies, Joseph
In: Warnock, white, duigan

We need better players in our backline against a big forwardline.

At least bucks showed glimpses, Brock played better
Simmo on last chance though. And Lucas just seriously needs tolearn how to tackle. The comments onhere about Gibbs are wrong in my opinion. He is much better and tougher at the contest but Lucas is the new Gibbs with leas skill. Isd almost drop him for ellard who you know will go oin hard. And I'm sick to death of robbo just getting the ball and pumping it as farbas he can. Seriously average stuff!!!

Another loss I suspect.

If we win it will be from a bit of luck. The coach is testing and experimenting at the moment, I don't reckon he's even looking at the 4 points.

My guess is there will be 4 changes again this week. One or two injured and at least two from MM's churning of the list.

Could be wrong, but that's what I've seen so far.

OUT - Kruezer (inj), Davies (inj), Simpson
IN - Warnock, White/Laidler, Ellard

Henderson just needs to play forward, Hampson and Rowe aren't going to do the job. I would even consider dropping Hampson as well and bring in both White and Laidler to cover us in defence.

Ellard seems to have had a decent game in the 2's so bring him in, at least someone will know how to tackle then.
If every player started with a clean slate then after 3 rounds Simpson does not deserve his spot, go get some form in the 2s.

If Warnock takes his chance it will interesting to see what we do once Kruezer is fit again.

I think Buckley will have a rest or sub and Simpson will be dropped.

Might see another kid in the vest this week.

That was an option I considered. Worth a shot

You mean his non-existent defensive tools or his woeful kicking tools so far this year.

His only impact this year was to Andrew Mackie's ribs and that cost us a certain goal.

He's an on-baller who needs to sort his game out.

This game could get really ugly.
Outs; Kreuzer (sadly), AJ, Davies
In; Warnock, Ellard, Laidler

Would love to bring in Menzel but maybe not the right game to make his debut.
Simpson on his last chance.

I don't think WC have been that good yet. They've only beaten Melbourne.

Can't wait to hear BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO all night

I'm guessing 4 changes again. Which is a lot but it seem to be the theme this year.

Warnock with Casboult relieving. Simpson into the back pocket makes a ton of sense. Buckley would would be great if had the engine for some midfield work.

Is it just me, or have guys like Bell, Casboult, Simpson, Murphy and a few others ... have they digressed under MM's new gameplan and strategy?

Sure seems like there's a half dozen of players playing nowhere near they're 2012 level. This is why we're losing, and this is why we look like a mid table team at best.

Couldn't agree more.

What about some perspective - every team that has beaten us remain undefeated. Pies doing ok against the Dawks too.

Of course we can beat them. We lost by 10 pts last yr in the middle of an awful slump.

Eagles just going, took a half to shake off the Dees FFS. Belted both games before at Subi too.

The ground and opponents should hold no fears. Wish I could be there.

he needs to show us he can make that spot his own or hes playing bullants.
