Kernahan is hoping Malthouse wins us a flag. I don't think he's thinking much deeper than that.
Speculating on what you THINK someone else THINKS and then attacking them for it – leave that to Synners, he does it better.
Well, personally I trust my intuition and powers of observation enough to hold an opinion.
Tell me, does it LOOK like the last few years have been the result of a carefully thought-out and well-laid plan? Do you think Sticks gave Ratten a 2 year extension, thinking that a scant 6 months later he'd be fumbling in front of the media about sacking him?
Was putting on a part-time coach to look after our development squad, then sacking him because he could only do the job part time part of this grand plan? How about sacking Wayne Hughes but actually keeping him on as 2IC?
Was it Sticks' idea to reduce the clubs debt through Mathieson's pokie gift? Why has the board blown out to unmanageable levels during Stick's reign?
When Bruce Matheison tells the whole world he thinks Sticks isn't up to it, is he just kidding around?
To be honest, I'm more than prepared to take a wild stab and assume that the Malthouse appointment is a last, desperate ill-thought out attempt to win a premiership by pressing a magic button.
Just like Pagan was. Just like Rattens appointment and re-appointment was ill-thought out.
If you can see ANY evidence of Kernahan having ANY kind of coherent strategy for success, please share it with me, so i may have some evidence with which to alter my view that Sticks doesnt know what the hell he's doing. I can't see any at all.
You know, if Sticks was Prez of any other club, you'd be laughing at him and them. That's the truth.
