Interesting comments re: how many positions for ruckman. SR thinks 4 with 2 that are ready, 1 close and a development player. Where does that put us? I see three ready and nothing else.
Good pick up and agree. If you go back to the Mckay blueprint, he stated that one of the main reasons for signing up warnock was to prevent poaching (as opposed to he is a required player).
I think we will trade a ruckman - my preference would be warnock as I see great upside to hampson (improved every season). It's sacrilege to say so, but imo all 3 ruckmen should be on the market - if only to see what nibbles we might get back

The bonus of all these injuries is that kids have got a go. Finally!
The kids have been given a go previously so its a bit misleading to suggest that they have only been given a go due to injuries.
- Davies and white have played previously and would have played earlier had they not been injured
- Casboult has been close before and would have played except for injuries (last yr, also early this year)
- Bootsma was given a good run relatively early in the season (given his body shape)
- O'keefe was been injured and the club had put in a specific program for him to get continuity in the VFL with a plan to play before the end of this year (cant recall source, think it might have been a postmatch interview recently)
-Bell & McInness came in on the back of sustained good form/development
Dale is probably the only player that was 'given a go' due to injuries
