What about West Coast? Missing 150 goals from last year....they seem to be doing ok? Why is it that they can do ok but we can't? Collingwood missing a shiteload of key defenders, key onballers and small forwards and still do ok?
They have structure - they have taggers, ball players, wingers///tall forwards and small forwards/
We have no tall forwards...If you think 1 tall forward can take on three tall defenders and cover CHF, FF and lead to the wings all at the same time, then what can you say?
.Small forwards can somewhat be replaced by mids or any type of small so can tall forwards.. problem is we only have Jamo, Bower and Watson left to play tall
We have no structure... we need three tall forwards or two tall forwards and resting ruckman pretty damn fast.
Even with all those injuries they still have them?
So they've developed depth yeh? Who was responsible for building depth at Carlton and re-signing list cloggers?
You talk of tall forwards - you clearly haven't been watching Carlton even when we've been ok - Eddie Betts is our marking forward.
It's an indictment on Brett Ratten and the football department that after 5 years Eddie Betts is still our focal point. Eddie has to do it against his opponent (20cm taller) and the loose defender.
On the weekend we were getting smashed in the guts and Ratten decides to throw Mitch Robinson to full forward and barely start Mclean in the centre square.
