I just dont want to see a calamaity after calamity...I struggle to understand tearing the club apart when poor form is largely due to 7-8 key players out injured. Last month has been unacceptable but there is definite improvement as key players return. It has been good that it happened now than round 18 - but improvement needs to start this Friday.
Don't think anyone could deny that we would improve with 7 of those key players back.
If you think round 3 when we flogged the pies by 10 goals :-
Murphy close to BOG
Carrazzo BOG destroys pendlebury
Waite plays a great game in the forward line bathing Reid early then his replacement.
Henda does the job on Cloke
Laidler solid as a rock
Kreuzer dominates Jolly
Then you have Yaz coming back from injury. Duigan can improve the team in time and TBird is an ok 2nd option if no forwards are available.
So really there is no doubt we will be a better side with those guys back.
The issue is these injuries have exposed our lists 2nd teir players and our list management (Icke

) and how poor the heart of the list is when it cannot get close to covering them injuries.
Why are you pinning it on Icke, Club?
I've asked you in another thread, why does Icke carry the responsibility?
As for Scarponi, you're wasting your time. He's here to stir the pot, not to have intelligent debate.
So far he's telling us McLean should never play for Carlton again, (4th in contested possessions, 1st in pressure acts and equal 2nd in scoring involvements for the game after an excellent game the week before) and that membership, sponsorship and everything else is "booming".
He's like hurricane Katrina at the moment. Leaving wreckage behind him in any debate he enters.
