Let's see. Ratten's taken us from nothing but our greatest ever rabble to the point of actually playing for top spot a few weeks ago, even if we did stuff it up, we have huge injuries in our most important structural spots, not to mention alot of injuries to any replacements, a few out of form, not to mention important blokes, who are actually playing, that missed much of the pre-season. Not the first side to have a bad patch and eventually come out of it, as we did in 2010, and won't be the last (as Worsfold would testify too). We achieved targets each year thus far and due to circumstances this might be the first we don't. Don't think an emergency Richmond board meeting (sh1t forgot, it's Carlton) is going to happen somehow. Wouldn't be one coach that wouldn't be cut some slack from that. If it was it'd be the knee-jerk reaction that happened to Dean Bailey last year after that Geelong debacle. Fat lot of good that did. After a couple of heavy losses there's so many mindless moronic posts from people that simply have no ability to think or analyse a situation "under pressure". Makes them basically weaker mentally than the people they criticise in the p1ss weak way they handle losses.
I do accept we have fight alot harder than we have. A couple of those recent games were so goddamn weak. Similar to that patch in 2010 but we turned it around. What to last year efforts when we fought tooth and nail every game no matter the circumstances. Never thrashed. This year is a step back in that area but when you play "dead" for years as we did under Pagan, then when we tanked sometimes it's too easy to slip back into that mindset making for a culture that is far from perfect.
Yes 1 win in a final in his 110 games.
3 number 1 picks and C Judd.
