Is this another propaganda thread against Ratten and Hughes?
I thought it was a preview for Carlton v Adelaide..
McKay's work with the MRP isn't flawless.
For our sake, I hope McKay doesn't charge vet rates for the hours he puts in.

Murphy's last two weeks have been completely unacceptable. People overlook the lazy habits for easier targets in Garlett and Gibbs.
A getting back to basics out at Visy wouldn't be the worst idea in the world.
Murphy has been terrible by his standards. Reminds me more of Camporeale who would run forward to hit packs at speed and cut sides up by gutrunning. Yet he couldn't find the desire to chase hard and pick someone up the other way. It really hurts you if Simpson and Murphy play like that with their opponents winning the contests. If they're not working hard, then they're not as hard to tag due to their lack of size. They don't have the muscle and size that Koutoufides and Judd use to win their own ball.
Side needs to go back to basics and play accountable footy. No finessing. Move it on quickly out of the square and keep it moving. Russell, Robinson, Judd and Curnow were the only mids who were pushing back. Curnow wasn't poor. Curnow was a victim of St Kilda restricting our spread from contests. No Mclean. Brock couldn't spread quickly at the Playboy Mansion. Dangerfield, Van Berlo, Vince and Sloane would kill him on the transition at Etihad. Responsibity for winning the pill needs to go back to Simpson, Murphy, Curnow, Judd, Ellard and Robinson.
Gibbs need to play forward and push into the midfield like he did against North and Freo last year. Need his silk delivering the ball.
