I'm after some help from whoever can provide it.
I am a Captains Club GA member, i generally go on my own.
My old man is a standard GA member.
This week against the scum we are going together and i'm having real trouble booking tickets. I am being told by ticketek that my old man's standard GA membership, for which he has essentially paid for his entry to X amount of home games, cannot be used to sit with me in the CC, so he must pay full price ie $35-40 to sit with me. I said to the consultant i dont understand why but just move us to another section where we can both use our pre-paid entry via our membership to sit together. I was then told that this was not possible as my seating area is CC. I seem to be going around in circles and im certainly getting frustrated.
I eventually gave up and tried online. Once i enter the 2 barcodes it wont let me select any tickets as the 'memberships don't have common entitlements'.
F#$% me.
I just want to sit somewhere within the 95,000 seats, together with my old man, and either of us not have to pay full bloody price (as we shouldn't have to).
What do i do?
Any other CC members have this issue?
Any help at all would be brilliant
cheers
They are right in that even if you are still a Carlton member but not a CC member you have to pay the full price to sit in the CC section. Which is fair enough as CC members pay a lot more per year than standard GA members.
But I don't know why you cannot get two seats together elsewhere with two different membership types. It's our home game and only our second for the year, so not like your memberships do not give you away game entitlements.
I have upgraded mine (CC 17 game GA) and my dad's (standard 17 game GA) for the Hawthorn game and got 2 seats together.
The only thing I can think of is that its too close to the game and you cannot get 2 seats together at all anywhere.
