You can't take out our percentage against the suns dude.
Everyone else played them, hense the increased percentage across the board.
Answer this if Gold coast had entered the comp in 2009 how many wins would we have had and would our percentage been better
The club set the bench mark not me not anyone else they came at and said we need to win a final
As i said before I have been a fan of Ratts but the facts are simple if we go out this week we have gone no where in 2 years this years result will be on a par with 2009 last year we went backwards
If that is acheiving KPI then tbey must be set low
I have no idea who would replace Ratts but Im sure there would be plenty out there willing to have a crack
I cant see the board the club and the supporters accepting another elimination final loss
Going on this year one more win against the GC would see us with 2 pts more still with a 20% improvement in percentage. Plus only played once against the low sides on the ladder. We had an easy draw in 2009.
The winning a final criteria was well and truly changed ages ago as it was ridiculous. Just that it hasn't drummed into the heads of the silly supporters or media. Don't worry about figures or technicalities if people can't see we have improved greatly across the board and heading in the right direction then there's a problem with them. If you think under any circumstances we are not better than 2009 in the way we're playing then you just haven't been to the football. You couldn't be serious. As Mike Williamson used to say, Jack Hill the blind miner can see that.
If Ratten gets the sack based on emotion then the Board just as stupid as forum board posters from all clubs all over the country. Means we'd have either choked or lost half our side during the game. Neither a coach's fault. We have demonstrated well and truly that we are heading in the right direction that one game can't change. That gets you a job.
