We were exposed big time today for major deficiencies, but of course it is all positives
So these major deficiencies were only exposed today right? They were always there?
So why not be proactive about it and see if we can make chicken salad out of chicken's proverbial? If it's a list issue, then there's not much we can do about it in round 14. Would make sense that if its an issue, we'd try out everyone on our list. I mean, you said Bower was soft and fragile, right? Unless I'm missing some serious White love, or you're about to top yourself by advocating we play McCarthy?
You're refusing to address my point that it is a positive that we're making these experiments and trial/error approaches now, not later in the year.

Austin was never going to make it, any idiot can see that. Naming him in team was first sign of defeat. Should have played Bower if it, better of two poor options
But he's been on our list for four years now, and retained at the expense of some rather unfortunate players during that time? Any idiot = the match committee, various comings and goings to the coaching staff?
We know what Bower can do. Austin is still a grey area, albeit four years on..

And you think we will lose next week
But there's MAJOR DEFICIENCIES, SugarBlue. MAJOR ones. HUGE! How can we cope? Riewoldt's already kicked a bag on us this year without Jamo.
I'll go you one better and I'll say Jack Riewoldt will break Fred Fanning's record and send us broke in the process, such is the nature of our backline. You've twisted my arm.

You think Ratten should be congratulated for being proactive. Had he moved Hendo down back half an hr earlier maybe I would agree. Too late. Game over.
You're right. Hindsight is fantastic.
