I have only read a few of the comments from the 13 plus pages so forgive me if this has been askeded already.... My question is why and how does Robbo continuously get a game? He has no idea how to kick a drop punt, often misses targets, is very slow and will never ever hold his feet in a contest! What is his role? What value does he bring to the side besides the occassional tackle?? Is he better than Lucas??
Robinson is part of the clearance group and is tasked with getting first hands on the footy and dishing it out, or using his sidestep and grunt to work a clearance. He's also used as a release option in midfield due to his ability to mark overhead and hold a contested grab, and as a high half-forward.
Robbo was definitely down last week, but still hauled in quite a few marks. His kicking is not as bad as you describe, he simply has a tendency to get a bit red-blooded when in possession. Once his fitness reaches a good standard over the next 18 months, he will be a big-bodied mid we can rely on to release others from stoppages and create opportunities for them in open play.

Also as mentioned by many already Hammer needs a rest as does Eddie. Another one that should be under the pump is Simon White - he gives up the front possie far too easliy in my opinion. The dilemma is who do you replace these guys with??
Hammer for Sentanta =
Eddie for Thornton = A marking forward option and possible swing backman
White for ?? Now that Bower is injured he'll be in for the next month I'm guessing unless Wato gets another chance..
White and Jamison were splitting time between the tallest forward in the competition in Tippett, and one of the in-form forwards in Taylor Walker. Then there was McKernan bobbing up at 198 cms. Over time we'll develop Watson (196 cms) & McCarthy (197 cms) and they'll come in for White (191 cms). For the time being, White should look better against a noticeably shorter Sydney line-up.
Hampson is doing a great job as second ruck, and is sporadic as the second forward. He's certainly had a tough time up there since round 2, but there has been talk of finger injuries since then. He certainly dislocated his finger in the pre-match run throughs (this was shown on Ten/One's coverage).
I agree that Eddie is looking a bit down on form and he either needs a rest or needs to get on his bike and play midfield in the VFL. Not up to standard in his role at present. I'd rather look at Armfield for him.
