Come on bondiblue ... take it easy man ... it was just a joke .. but certainly not about him being injured. As I have said before I would be over the moon if Bower had a good year.
I'm just testing you and I was hoping you weren't a hater....I don't mean to be personal, but I have to if I'm addressing you...don't I?
Next time you're at Princes Park, or if you jump on the ground and stand next to Bower...that's a buzz in itself...just have a look at the size of him (Height & weight) and think about how fast and how hard he really is at pace, because that's something the power forwards (whatever you call those gorillas, fast or not) haven't got over him. He is fast. So fast he rarely gets caught. He looks [REDACTED], but I don't give a @#$%&! whilst he keeps getting away with shit hardly anybody else does.
Just respects what he actually does do (glass is half full...bird in the hand...)
Bower creates the loose man.
Armfield creates the loose man.
Judd ceates a loose man.
Yarran creates the loose man.
Gibbs creates the loose man.
Murphy creates the loose man.
Scotland creates the loose man and from our squad he started it.
Gartlett, Betts & Walker say no more...
Simpson taught the new lot to create the loose man by taking the game on.
Kreuzer creates the loose man with his 2nd & 3rd efforts.
I reckon Tuohy creates a loose man
Now consider how many lose men we create....not every team has plenty...we should encourage taking the game on...are you with me?
How could we beaten for the next flag if we have the most loose men in a physical game....with similar skill courage.....etc etc
Easier said than done, but there is a set of rules professionals should be able to follow.
Simple: don't get caught, don't give away a free, suck up as many defenders as possible, take the hit, make sure your team mate gets the next passage of play, likely to continue the loose man........flag
I hope we have close to a full list next week. Kreuzer missing is bad enough.
