Pros:
Finals pressure applied...we weren't quite up to it but did not cave in.
Cons:
Supporters do cave in.
Especially when they see the same issues/problems/concerns they've seen countless times before
Tell us what you think they are prelim.
The problems i see is when we lose momentum and teams press up on us we get static. We hold on to the ball for a split second longer than we do when we have momentum. Players like Bower and Russell seem to be the players aware of this and you can see they try (not always successfully) to get things moving.
We seem to lose form and gain form from ten minutes to ten minutes.
We dont score as much as competative teams when we have momentum due mainly to little mistakes more often than not made by players with only a few games next to their names.
Last night being a man down cost us. Not just in numbers either. I have not been a big fan of Carrazzo over the years but he does play a role and last night we got a taste of what it would be like with him out of the team.
We need to keep persisting. Keep getting games into the youngsters and keep training the mistakes out of their games.
These are my pros and cons.
1. Judd with no protection from team mates....STILL NOT ADDRESSED
2. Kick ins woeful.....STILL NOT ADDRESSED
3. Kicking to vacant forward line filled with defenders....STILL NOT ADDRESSED
4. Stagnant players all around the ground, little evidence of gut running....STILL NOT ADDRESSED
5. Opposition going through corridor like a knife through soft butter...STILL NOT ADDRESSED
6. Kicking/handballing to statues or to players with an opponent up their tijuana...STILL NOT ADDRESSED
7. Shepherding and blocking for each other....STILL NOT ADDRESSED
8. Too many players getting dragged up the ground, exposing us fwd and bck. The goal posts are not b/w the arcs, they're at either end of the ground. This is a game structure flaw....STILL NOT ADDRESSED
