Changing the coach now ain't gonna achieve anything.

I would add Eddie to that list, give them all a kick up the backside.

One little question !!!

If Ratten was to be sacked, who would be the one that would have to tell him ???????

Kernahan always talks about you gotta have balls of steel, lets see if he has a set himself.

So I gather it would be Kernahan ?

Arent Ratten and Kernahan mates ?

So you have to ask yourself, could you sack one of your mates ????

agree with the Judd comment, the poor bloke had to do it on his own for most of the game! we were sitting on the fence next to the interchange, and the amount of times he came off looking frustrated / angry and then disappointed with the turnovers he was watching was actually sad to watch. we are gonna put that bloke into early retirement....

Didn't think much of it but Tim Gossage (yes I know.....just hear me out) mentioned on Perth breakfast radio this week that there is strong rumblings that Judd is seriously unhappy at the Blues.

Thought it was just BS and scraping the bottom of the barrel a bit. However the way we are travelling it does make you wonder. We are certainly playing like there are deep internal divisions.

Tim Goosage may be right, but 2 things struck me about this comment - 1, he may be unhappy, but its not all about him, as much as we rely on him, its a team sport (and thats my cynical response...) and 2, the way he plays, its like he leads with actions rather than words and too few are willing to follow, with the exception of Simpson, whose courage must weigh more than his body. if Juddy is our leader, then he would expect those around him to follow or at least support him, and the way he gets hammered week in week out, i dont blame him for being unhappy, and that mis for the coaches and our leadership group to address as we cannot afford to lose him and his will to win and his experience, ability, attack on the ball. if i were in his shoes, i would be unhappy as well with the seeming lack of support form his teammates

cheers for the insight too!

Fair point you make there aido. Says it all.

But the end of season 'review' concluded that everything was OK - top coaching panel.

Why wouldn't a business come to that conclusion?? 15th, 11th, 7th...gee, I wonder?

You'd hope that they looked at it in more detail than that. We had a lot of junk wins last year. The Friday night West Coast and North wins, Freo away, and the win against the Collingwood reserves comes to mind.

Much of the football we played last year was very concerning and lacked all of the things we are lacking now.

And you can't accuse me of using hindsight because I posted my concerns about the coaching panel almost every week last year.

So no, a decent review should not have concluded that all was well just because we finished 7th!

Ok so, Swann sacks Ratten, then Kernahan sacks Swann cause he sacked a mate !!!!!!!

In other words,,,,I dont think we're going to see Ratten sacked ever, he will have to resign !!!!!

Judd is tied to the CFC....and Visy here in Melbourne; and he and Bec are building a new Home in upmarket Brighton, and.....Bec is contracted to Myer....Paul Bram Jewellers and The Alfred Hospital; and they are getting Married on New Years Eve at Crown here in Melbourne.......Judd's not going anywhere.

Three.

Possibly four, but I was responding to a post by Blackwell, so that one probably can't be counted.

What the hell happened to Blackers?

What makes me sick is to hear Robert Walls in One week at a time say Carlton supporters should settle down with the sack Ratten calls. He reasoning is we are a young with a young coach

A YOUNG SIDE MY A R S E ROBERT WALLS

SENIOR players over the age 25 or older

Walker
Simpson
McClean
Carrazzo
Waite
Thornton
Judd
Houilihan
Hadley
Scottland

There is enough senior experience there to avoid such performances

Yet the Bombers are under the pump who are the second youngest side and had two players over 25 playing last night, McVeigh and Fletcher

When you look at that list, there are major shortcomings in half of them, and only two of them would be considered real leaders (Judd, Simmo, maybe Scotto at a stretch). So really our list is middle of the table at best, which is where we are but but we're playing like a bottom 4 side. Average list, below average coach =

Would he want it ? Seems happy being a business man.

Why would we want one former decent player who cameos as a champion of the game and has no coaching experience to replace another one?

Have to get rid of this coach. He is hopeless.

Players aren't putting in but isn't it the coach who is supposed to get them up? Players aren't putting in bec they lose heart early in games bec the game plan doesn't work.

We played with Robbo as our sole fwd for about 90% of the first half. During that period nobody kicked it to him. Everytime our mids had the ball fwd of centre they looked up and saw robbo and then decided to go short to F50 instead, where upon they proceeded to turn it over about 5 times in the first quarter alone.

All the while Hendo plays on a wing/HB, and Judd sometimes replaces Robbo as the FF. What a joke of a fwd structure.

I bet the Sydney defenders shat themselves when they saw this fwd structure LOL

Discgraceful fwd structure/game plan. It is non existent.
