agree with the Judd comment, the poor bloke had to do it on his own for most of the game! we were sitting on the fence next to the interchange, and the amount of times he came off looking frustrated / angry and then disappointed with the turnovers he was watching was actually sad to watch. we are gonna put that bloke into early retirement....
Didn't think much of it but Tim Gossage (yes I know.....just hear me out) mentioned on Perth breakfast radio this week that there is strong rumblings that Judd is seriously unhappy at the Blues.
Thought it was just BS and scraping the bottom of the barrel a bit. However the way we are travelling it does make you wonder. We are certainly playing like there are deep internal divisions.
Tim Goosage may be right, but 2 things struck me about this comment - 1, he may be unhappy, but its not all about him, as much as we rely on him, its a team sport (and thats my cynical response...) and 2, the way he plays, its like he leads with actions rather than words and too few are willing to follow, with the exception of Simpson, whose courage must weigh more than his body. if Juddy is our leader, then he would expect those around him to follow or at least support him, and the way he gets hammered week in week out, i dont blame him for being unhappy, and that mis for the coaches and our leadership group to address as we cannot afford to lose him and his will to win and his experience, ability, attack on the ball. if i were in his shoes, i would be unhappy as well with the seeming lack of support form his teammates
cheers for the insight too!
