it's hard to replace Fevola.
The way Fev is going he would have fitted right in. 2 kicks this week not sure his current form would help the team at all.
I had to work today so couldn't go, which was a blessing in disguise. I notice by the stats that Jamo had 2 possies. he must do better. At the moment he gives us nothing but defence. What has happened to the team of the first 8 weeks. Changing players is like swapping deck chairs on the Titanic. Our refurbished forward line seemed woeful. Finally Ellard might get a game. Also why not play Davies and anyone else in the 2s who hasn't had a go. Fish needs a few games for his 100th and is going well. He will be found out for pace at Subi, but nothing else is working. Lets try a few players out.
Middle of the road interstate sides are normally 3 goals better at home and three goals worse away, which makes our performance even worse. Over the last 7 years we have had 3 pick#1, #2,#3, #4, #6, #9, # 11, #12, #19, #21, #23, #24, #25. (Not sure of the exact numbers in the 20s but close enough) We have swapped a few of these profitably for Judd and wastefully for Warnock and McLean. We won't ever get this good a go at the draft again, and we are looking distinctly middle of the road. If we have the talent then the coach and assistants are at fault. Or maybe we don't have the talent. The only thing left to change is the coach as we can't top up on talent with GC and GWS. I think we should see Ratts contract out, but why did we extend it from 2-4 years so early? Chances are we would be better with a more experienced and authorative coach, but I don't think we have the talent to win a flag and I am not sure where we will get the additional talent needed.
