He's had three BOG's five & four years ago.
So he has played below average for four years......and we give Melbourne pick 11 cos we are Carlton and !@#$%& the rest.
We showed those Dees!
..just to clarify a little.. ..in '05 and '06 he was still a kid ['03 draft], a kid playing in a finals side from memory.. ..i think Neitz might have even won the coleman one of those seasons, plus other good dee's like green and yze would have been getting more ump focus.. ..in an '06 final [remember he's 24 in 2010] he won it for the dee's off his own boot.. ..i think it was in '07 that he got the big injury?, and really they've had their own 'dark days' on crappy foozball from '07 to '09.. ..not much chance for votes when playing as crap as they were.. ..especially during '09 season when the Tank was in full swing and he was repeatedly played out of position.. ..the Brock is not a FP..
..question marks on his durability, and ability to stay consistently fit.. ..i don't think he's too slow cos when proper fit he's good enough.. ..his greatest asset though is his elite endurance.. ..the rapid increase in rotations since his good years is the real problem i think.. ..in a way, he's the sort of guy that needs to be rotated less, benching him won't be as good for him, as letting him settle and get into a groove on-field.. ..the thing is, he's never been pacy.. ..it's not like he's lost a heap of speed or anything.. ..and in his early years he looked better than cooney and looked to be on the cusp of becoming a superstar.. ..same year ratts was there i think.. ..injuries, and playing in a crap, then tanking team have really skewed opinions of what he's capable of i think.. ..i do believe that when fit he's in our best 18, starting right in the middle i reckon too..
