If his body was more reliable, I'd be all for this. Plays for the jumper, always gives 100%.

We need to get out of this mindset of "well, he's the best player, make him captain".

I keep thinking about Nick bloody Maxwell for Collingwood as an example of how that doesn't need to be the case.

Not that it helps us now, but if he keeps developing, I can see Ollie being a contender in 5+ years.

There's a massive difference between the two.

If it's the former, then it's absolutely warranted.

If however it is the latter, to me that's another sign of the absolute contempt that the club and board have towards it's supporters and they now want to paint us as deranged criminals.

I didn't notice anything aside from being very loose on his opponent at times. Did you see anything specific? Not Tom Lynch calibre, I hope

JSOS played with a groin injury for most of the game, he'll be out for weeks. Showed good leadership and discipline to stay on and play through the pain and discomfort.

he's had the groin from the same match he broke his hand in. i wonder why we kept playing him when we knew he was lame?
