If the captain is going to put in piss weak chases, at least contribute when the ball is in tight. 8 possessions in a half of footy is putrid.
Our players need to forget hand balling unless there is an option to receive. Too often we handball to no one or straight to loose Hawks players. If you're unsure, kick it long.
Evans, Derksen, Ainsworth, Riley, Cerra are having a real dip. Too many hanging back. Fortunately the game is still within reach if we're good enough.

All our “even up the stats free kicks” have been outside the forward 50.

Umpires would be having a hard look at themselves
Surely the umpires coach at the ground would give them the feedback.
They owe us 2-3 goals

Fraser will settle them IF he knows what to do and how to translate that.

No doubt we can win this.

Cerra fantastic, but he needs mates.
I think win the ball and sprint to space is our ticket.

Kemp owes us,
Byrne and Evans, this is you time and conditions to suit you.

We can win this

Agree. We can win this but if we don't get the first couple, it could also get quite ugly

What did they say?

Something along the lines of…’ just when we thought we couldn’t get any lower (in terms of standard of umpiring)

They showed the replay with the umpire audio proving he called play on before pinging Cerra for moving off the mark. From multiple angles.

The most senior umpire out there.

530 games, record number of finals (63) & grand finals (12).

I said it quietly before, now I'll say it loudly: dropping Acres was a disgrace. I've never been as vocal on selection integrity as others, but if you think it was a major issue for the club under Voss then it clearly hasn't gone away. Acres was a major part of our surging form, and thoroughly deserved to keep his place. It appears the club has decided to preference younger players at the cost of performance. And if he was carrying a knock then list him as "injured" or "managed"; we went with "omitted".

Regarding rucking in the centre circle, I take it that the ruck is allowed to jump over the centreline and land on the other side without actually touching the ball? And then contest the ball?

Does the rule state that you just can’t step over the line before you jump?

Why is Cripps doing the ruck work when Harry is standing 3 metres from him?

So he doesn’t have to chase.

Agree. He's been important since coming back into the team I thought
