I doubt they give Josh the job during the season, but in that scenario, the job is all but his. Even if we lost to Brisbane and Freo, and get knocked out in an elimination/wildcard final, I still reckon he gets it. If he wins a final, bet your house on it.

I'm having the same dreams. What a welcome mess

I know, I felt dirty typing it. I still go in to every game expecting to lose.

But I reckon I'm not too far off in my assessment.

Wet dreams are not an assessment, they are a messmate.

The retrospective version of the above is that if we’d beaten North, the Pies and Brisbane earlier this year (we lost those games by less than two kicks) we’d be in outright third on the ladder.

The North loss, in particular, was a such a shitty game.
