Apparently they asked the assistant coaches if we could bring in 2 Cottrells & have a multicottrel side, but Hansen didn't like it

I’m taking my 11yr old to the open training tomorrow - they say it starts 9:45am. Does anyone know how long it goes and whether it’s ok to arrive more like 10:30?
Sorry to hijack this chat but no-one looks at the Training threads much at this time of year…

Well Jezza came back - I don't think SOS ever will.

Did anyone watch the Port V Crows match tonight ? I did . There is a lesson in this match . Port showed up . Crows didn't . We show up we win . But we have to show ready to go . Tigers flick the ball around and are quick .

Didn't watch but I did tip Port! Just had a feeling they were due a win and everybody loves a showdown upset right, had to happen :-)

Tipped Port as well. Tanking the season perfectly - losing by close margins and winning showdowns.

My goodness I want to pump these pricks this week. Assuming Nankervis is miraculously fit again as well as Lynch?

Well done! I honestly fluked it, no insight!

I had a dream last night that half way thru the 3rd the Tiggers were 100 and we were 20. I think we came back but I woke up.

I'd probably bring in Williams for Ison, but am fine if there's no change (as long as the wins continue and Sydney keep losing).

I thought about bringing in L Young to go up against Lynch, but that would deny us the pleasure of watching Dean make him cry.

Watching the replay again and paying close attention to young Jack, I reckon he did enough to hold his spot.

I will be disappointed if he is "managed", but of course I want the team to win.

I watched it again too. I wanted to see Jacks output and perceived role. He did OK TBH. Nothing extraordinary, and pretty good for a 19yo.

I want at least one AFL game under Williams' belt before the Hawks game.

I'm also looking ahead of this week's game at the ruck challenge Meek (203) and Reeves (210) present for Pittonet (202) and McKay (203-5). I'm thinking we will need Riley for that game at CB, and getting a game into him before that might be a good idea, if MC believe he's good to go. If not, maybe the rest will do Pitto the world of good to face up the Hawks challenge.

Interesting move dropping acres, i thought he was doing well. Anyway, pencil the reserves in for a win now

Very surprised that Acres was dropped.
To my eye, he looked like an important battering ram and initiated several of our attacks forward in the past few weeks.
On the stats, he appears to be far from the worst performers… against the Eagles, his metres gained wasn’t amazing, only 2 tackles, and 3 i50s I think. But otherwise, his numbers looked ok to me. And certainly better than a few others.
Anyway, there may be more at play or he was dropped based on Fraser’s team rules/priorities or perhaps just because someone had to make way for Hollands…

Acres got a bad knock just before the end of last weeks game . He was holding his shoulder . Don't reckon he plays in the magoo's this week .

I wonder what dropping Acres is all about. If he has been rested or injured, then say so. Listing him as 'Omitted' is confusing. He was damn solid last week and the week before.

I think Acres is more effective in tight, high contest matches with high stakes. I think we are resting him for the hawks and pies games.

Ollie earnt his recall.
