Agreed.

Some will interpret his answers as "avoiding the question", but to me, it shows he fully understands the job of the board. Their job is to hire the right people to run the club, not to try to do it themselves.

And I liked that they are having regular reviews with all areas of the club, to stay on top of what challenges they are facing and, I assume, how they are performing.

I dare say he will try and recruit more like minded people to the board in the future. Fingers crossed the days of the board trying to run the club from afar are over.

Kane Cornes has gotten his knickers in a real twist over this.

My only concern after watching the two YouTuber interviews is that Priestly mentioned AI so many times that he may as well give the coaching gig to an AI bot.

Other than that I thought both spoke about as well and freely as you could expect in that context.
