Well Guess what? It was Elijah's brain fade that caused both Warnings, YET no Senior player can identify that there was something wrong with him!! How Pathetic can you get?

I can see why you’re seething. I didn’t know Elijah gave the free kick away. Is that true? If so Fair enough.

It’s on his team mates to identify if he’s not his normal self. They do spend enough time with him to know better.

There’s more to this story…..I’m sure we will here more about it.

Inside fifties tell the true story . Fact is the Pies butchered the ball far more than us . They were a five to six goal better side than us and the final margin flattered us . Same story , not enough of our players getting there hands on the ball between the arcs . And the Pies despite winning a Flag recently have already started there rebuild . There young players played a big part in there win last night .

Peter Daicos is a good one.
There for his boys. Cheering on. Having a laugh. Being human.
Daicos boys just don’t come across as …. Entitled.
Neither does Peter: Macedonian Marvel.

I’ve got my torch pointing straight at him.

This is his 2 nd year with the boys.

Did Austin select weak cattle?
Red ribbons at the show? Maybe Green?

They showed some vomit worthy footage while nd was interviewed after the game. Essentially having a piece of himself in the super box. Incredibly a guest in carlton guernsey high five him too. I give up

I'm actually not even mad about the game last night. It was an improvement.

Like it or not, this is where we're at right now. All we can ask for is improvement.

Granted, I haven't seen the Elijah footage yet...

Level headed.

We are where we are.
We have what we have.
It was a huge improvement.
I enjoyed the game because I saw the effort and improvement.

Good to see Kemp, Hayward, Cowan take on the game and show a bit.
Harry was a great target for 2 nd week in a row. Pity he can’t kick straight.

My concern is what comes next when Haynes and Newman retire, Williams and Gov?
We have only 3 players out who can’t be considered for selection : OFarrell, Cottrell and Motlop. The rest we will see tonight.

How does a player clearly not mentally right be allowed to to play when there are 22 other players
God knows how many officials
3 emergencies sitting there
Says everything about this club
Just when you think you have seen it all….

Peter Daicos may or may not be the greatest person and/or father on the planet. That doesn't absolve him from carrying on like a complete penis everytime one of his boy does something. We get it.

What a waste of energy and momentum when we consistently miss SET shots at goal 30-40 out. Thats on the players … and list manager.

Voss will be gone, but we need to improve our forward craft. Fix the fkn goal kicking routine for all forwards. It’s amateur hour when we sit in hope they kick straight. FMD it’s so obvious, year after year….fix it Harry. You’re on the list for another 4 years, and highly likely as our No 1 KPF, unless we can attract Geogiades or the like.

I get really irritated by Jeremy Cameron and his stupid little ball compression ceremony when he's got a set shot. Elicits a similar reaction to Rafa Nadal's arse pick-n-sniff. I should perhaps see a psychologist about this. But that aside, at least these blokes have a routine and deliver consistently. I noticed last night, H is all over the shop. Sometimes he spends 30 seconds debating whether to go around the body or go the drop punt. Sometimes he places the ball on the ground and wipes his hands, Sometimes he spins it around. Sometimes - and a lot of our guys do this - he just gazes off at the shot clock and then suddenly goes oh crap, I've got to kick it now. Everyone in our squad should be put on notice: choose a routine and replicate it EXACTLY on your next five set shots, otherwise you're delisted, cauliflower.

It's only his 10th game or whatever - but I said to the boss last night as Matt Carroll was coming in for his set shot that this is a guaranteed miss because he's chucking the ball around in his hands, no routine, nothing. It is the easiest thing to fix.

part of the S & C role is player availability and injury management. and we have the best injury list we've had since ratten and bradley were playing. so that's a big departure in a really positive direction from the last decade ...

i think we are physically fit, but not emotionally and mentally fit. i know i harp on about this a bit. But i see elite endurance athletes at boxing. putting up obscene numbers on the beep test, and 400m, 1500m and 5km trials etc etc

... and they get into the ring and are gasses and cramping up after 2 rounds. maybe even hurling in between rounds 1 & 2.

i also see guys who can't run to the end of the street, yet can spar 10 rounds no problem. mental exhaustion, anxiety and of course fear wear you out much quicker than what one can aerobically exhaust (hope i'm making sense here).

if you can't stay composed, you can't stay in the fight.

i see us tighten up, i see guys out there not breathing. no leadership whatsoever is in their ear calming the farm, (not on the field or off it) and while the stress exponentiates, so does the fatigue & cramping.

different leaders, we'd see different results and i would bet my house, two dogs, car, motorbikes and my favourite signed Suns jersey on it.

i'm not sure we have drafted the onfield leaders we need, but the off field "leaders" need to go asap before permanent damage has been acquired.

i really feel for elijah. and right now with all this attention, he could spiral quite dramatically.

no big deal we lost another game. we will barely win one all year. just hope he is all right and in good hands.

I’ve known the Daicos’s for a while. Can’t agree and I’ll leave it at that.
If you watched his hand reaction to us a few years back, it will show you the true story of him and his kids.
Sorry to spoil the love.

Actually you make perfect sense. It's happened to me - I've done a few Hyrox events because I'm a millenial and that's our Olympics. While you know you've done the training and you're physically fit enough, you can start to panic if things don't go as planned and then boom, your HR is through the roof, your brain scrambles and you're suddenly in all sorts.
