If they bring the pressure they suddenly found half way through the 3rd quarter they will flog North.

We are overdue in terms of dishing out a good flogging
We owe Norf big time.

Who played on Elliot on Sunday?
(They did a pretty good job after the opening minutes when he looked like he was going to have a big day.)

And who played on Mihocek?

If we play one quarter of decent footy, we lose
If we play one half of decent footy, we break even
If we play 3/4 of good footy, we'll win frustratingly but only if we kick straight; if not, we'll have another "honourable" loss

Only 4 quarters will do it. With everything on the line, our history with Norf and our own destiny still in our hands, my cynicism says we'll shit the bed. Happy to be proven wrong and hoping that our final quarter was the turning point for the rest of the season. Go Blues

If we play 3 quarters of good footy we'll shit all over North. No chance of losing in that scenario. We beat the pies playing one quarter of good footy.

Our list is miles ahead but our lack of a discernible system both defensively and offensively bring us back down closer to their level. Confident we'll have enough talent on the park to get the job done though, as long as we turn up to play

I just want a game that is over at quarter time and we can then just enjoy the last 3 quarters and build percentage.

I watched the third quarter vs Pies last night, and we played well. Didnt take our opportunities like we did in the last. Did I mention the Walsh factor?

Not sure how many here have watched a lot of norf games in the last couple months. We need to be 'on', and 'on' from the outset. They bring the pressure and have a really underrated young midfield.

Agreed Heavs
North’s last 6 weeks have been pretty reasonable: draw with GWS, lost to Brisbane, beat GC, lost to Dogs, beat West Coast away and lost to Essendon*. That recent form line is better than where they sit on the ladder.
They also rested Cunnington last week so he’ll be fresh for this one.
We should win but if we’re not switched on they will get us. Real danger game and historically one we would lose.
This is a real test of the mentality of the group. Great final quarter vs Pies but can’t get carried away and need to bring the heat from the bounce.

Agree Heavs should have beaten the Bummers strong at contest and good young players
Cunnington always intimidated us so need to be strong
No tuning up halfway through
North are vulnerable if teams get a good start against them so get in front early and bring the heat
Achieved nothing yet and don’t get carried away with 3-4 wins only won 7 games for the year should be eager to add to that tally
