Don't get me wrong...I like the 'Lily of Laguna' tune and the words - but it's not about me nor my demographic anymore. There's no doubting it's a little slow and there's very little edge to it. In the greater scheme of things it really isn't something that's been around a long time so given the right tinker - I'd be open to change.

Less trombone? More Cowbell? More stratocaster? Drum solo? What say you...change or leave alone?

Personally I would like Eddie Van Halen intro...keep tune and tempo...less banjo.

I like Lily, but it's a bit on the staid side, even compared to Geelong's Il Toreador, or the Swans cover version of the Notre Adams fighting song (I'm sure it is that..).

I'd be happy to see a new some come on board alongside Lily, for the team run on or something like that. Not sure about replacing it...I wouldn't actively vote to replace, but wouldn't stand in the way either, depending on the song.

A footy song has to have trumpets. They just do.

I agree that the song should stay, but in all facets of the club we should to be open to change. At the very least, open to discussion.

Ok lets amend the constitution to reduce the board for no greater than 7 directors each having no more than 7 year terms all elected by full board elections by members every 7 years

Da da da da is the greatest intro of all club songs. Don't touch it.
