That's a good article from Wayne Schwass. You don't have to be a rocket scientist to see what he has written, but all the same, it is nice to hear it from a guy who knew how to play the game and was coached by Pagan himself.

The commitment the guys are playing with is great, and if we can keep that up we'll do alright this year I reckon.

They say that 90% of the game is played between the ears and as far as instilling that goes I'd say Dennis has no peer.

It shows that Pagan is brilliant, and effective.

I loved this:

The Carlton list would have been refocused on Round 1 very quickly.

I reckon that's right. The boys will win, and win well.

Im hoping for a 6 goal plus win. If we play to pagans coaching, we should do this..

Theres plenty of dumb money out there on the Kangas that has underestimated Carlton and Pagan.

A great, unbiased article from the man who Pagan singled out in 1997 as having cost them a chance at the Flag. In 1998 he was in Sydney.
I don't mind Schwatter's comments in general on radio or TV, I think he's a pretty good analyst of the game.

BTW: What dictionary in the world has the word "dissension"? Haven't the HUN subs heard of "dissent"?

dissension

n 1: disagreement among those expected to cooperate [syn: discord] 2: a conflict of people's opinions or actions or characters

Damn! I hate looking like a dill!

Still, dissent could have just as easily been used. Like using obligated in preference to obliged.

I blame the Americans........who else would use words like anaesthesiologist over anaesthetist....just trying to look smart.

I think you're the winningest KK.

Agree on the comments re Schwass, he seems to know what he is talking about and appears to be a good special comments man.

Not sure how I'm going to cope with Piggy Dunstall hosting Fox League Teams though.

Couldn't be worse than the corny lines Huddo was throwing around last season. John Barnes could use the chop also, he contributes nothing.

quite simply - i rate wayne schwass as the best football commentor in the game.

by commentator i dont mean one that calls the games, but a media commentator that discusses the game.

he is quite simply the best there is and im not sure why but i reckon he would make a great coach.
