Did anyone attend last night? Was there any news of note to come out of it?

Wow, is it just me or has this been kept a bit quiet?

Any news on this will be very appreciated.

CB - you should have got a package from the club with the annual general report.

there was a letter as part of that stating when the AGM would be.

i didnt go though - forgot all about it

AGM's are always poorly attended when a club is going well.

Okay, I must have missed the bits and pieces. I don't recall getting any notice about the AGM, but I keep forgetting to register for my voting rights, so that may have something to with it.

Any word on whether the membership categories/voting rights are changing as promised back in 2002?

I'm a registered voter, yet I still didn't recieve the general report or a notice of the meeting.... not that I would have attended, I had a comp on, but it would have been nice to have been asked.

Couldn't get there, it would have been pretty routine I would have thought

Unlike the ones a couple of years ago......Now they were meetings

Pretty routine.
John Elliott and Wes lofts turfed out the existing board and nominated themselves co presidents.
John celebrated by grabbing all present females on the arse.
The new committee told all in attendance that everything was under control, they perved on everyones tits and went to the pub to get pissed.

No different to any other pre 2000 committee meeting.

Went to the AGM, there were about 200 members there.
Before entering the room names were checked against the membership register, members were given a voting card

The usual Financial Explanation and the reason for the move from Optus,

Re the Voting:
Members will not be required sign a separate voting form each year to be able to vote, as has been done previously,

Only one original signature will be required, and will be on going “rolloverâ€
