Twas great indeed........

but what does annoy me is......."the
Mike Sheehan writing mode"........!

they don't study the teams.......

Gary Ayres..."one player your getting
good service from........Matty Lappin......"

no shite sherlock.......any other players
down there you might want to give us
your rundown on......?

what about that Kouta fella.......he goes
alright hey.....?

but all in all....a good program......!

kindest regards tommi

"theres only one Matty Lappin.....
one Matty Laaaappin"......etc etc......!

kindest regards tommi

won't get the chance to see it today (on at 2.10), don't know if its repeated, but was there anything new or "insightful"?!?

Was it recorded before or after the Wizzer win?

It looked pretty much live last night. It was really just recognising we have some talent, it was just refreshing to someone in the media acknowledge it.

My thoughts exactly Tommi.
Ayresy's impersonation of Captain Obvious was perfect.
"One player I've got a lot of time for is Heath Scotland"!
His insight into the intracacies of our list and our youth was exactly zero.

I was actually impressed with the knowledge of Jason Bennett.
Its amazing what a bit of research can achieve.
Too bad Gary didnt put in the effort.

Not having a famous footy past, means Jason Bennett doesn't have the luxury of not doing any research. And the fact that he barracks for Carlton, probably would have helped.

Good program. Good to hear some comments again from the coach on a number of our player.

All very positve, Watching Ayers I was constantly reminded of Andrew Sartins impersonation the other night. Jason Bennet was very good I thought. All in all a very pleasant half hour.

Just saw a snippet of a broader 2005 season preview and bloody hell, who let Ayres grow his mullet back? I can see 6 months of that droning bloody voice and blackened coiffure is going to drive me insane.

I know Ayres hair is bad - and there is so much of it.

Clearly a bad hair year - he's following Dermie's moggie look!

maybe it's a hawthorn thang
