Will the boys win enough games to make it into the eight, come Round 22?

Pagan's finals record is very impressive, but can the boys get there?

When we do make the eight, and Carlton Supporters remind the so called experts that none of them had us reaching the finals and how bemused we were that despite the obvious form of the wizard cup, that they chose to consistenly underestimate us, I suppose that they will brand as as arrogant for pointing out their foolish misjudgement. So be it...Underestimate us at your peril.

I think we can make the 8. We won 10 games last year and haven't lost any big players and our youngsters have had an extra pre season under their belts. I expect guys like Whitnall, Livingston, Walker, Waite, Davies to improve on last year and hopefully Kouta can play 20 games. Without to many injuries I think we can do it.

BOYS! The arrogance is back, as we speak 14 "yes" votes and no "no" votes! We are back with confidence and ready to start winning again! Go the Blue boys!

The only way we would miss making the final 8 is if there were 8 better teams than us during the season, and it seems to me, there are only 4, maybe 5 teams that may be better, and I reckon on our day we could beat them too!

Collingwood for the spoon. :D

Whilst I'm very confident we will make the eight it certainly won't fall in our laps.

We will have to play a lot better than last year as all other coaches will be scrutinizing our list and game plan more thoroughly...

Still, with with the team Denis has put together and with the draw we've got sixth or seventh looks very achievable.....up the BLUES

Get those stoppages to 50/50 clearance rate and we are certainties for a top 6 spot.Weak backline ! Crap. Our backline is developing into one of the better backlines in the AFL.Solid and reliable with a bit of flair from Houla and Skinny. So So forwards.More rubbish ! A genuine FF and CHF makes us very potent. How many sides have genuine key forwards ? Not many Reckon TLO is going to become a real thorn to opponents.Bit of Matt Clape about this fella.Deceptily strong overhead, and no slouch when the pill hits the deck.Like Lance,is very good at creating space around himself.TLO is a far more talented footballer than most blues fans realize. No its not the forwards and backs that will determine our fate this year, but the heat is on our onballers.Sure, the names are there, but must get more of the ball at stoppages to give us first crack at the pill.

if the form we are currently in gets continued throughout the season, then yes, comfertably..

if we dont, and we have a few lapses of form here and there, or some key players get injured, it is just like any other team - no finals for 2005

Injuries to key players can make it hard for any side no matter how good they are, though we do have a lot more depth.

I will be deeply disappointed if we didn't make the eight this year.
I think we will be surprising many and be challanging top4. You heard it first from Surrey, top4.

Who am I to go against the grain and vote 'no'. How could I vote no anyway after reading dannyboy's TRUE BLUE, TRULY PROUD article.

I think Pagan warned at the end of last year that there was a more likely scenario we'd do well to keep pace with last year because so much improvement came from so many players and we should expect to see that from them again. I think we are seeing the improvement again from some of these players and it will be greater consitency which will see us make the 8.
