I just saw on Tixel that there over 1000 people wanting tickets.

Ticket gone.
Go Blues!

Did you use tixel? I've never used it. Do you recommend it?

Go to minute 3.25 and listen to pregame pep talk from Coach Prime. This is 2 days out from his next game.

If Vossy gives that speech before the game, it would resonate.

"It ain't gunna be because of me."

What a great line. Let me know what you think Mick.

Go Blues

Regards Cazzesman

Nice!
Let me at them - :banghead:

Yes, I sold it on Tixel.
First time I've used it.
It worked well, so I'd recommend it.
Go Blues!

Whatever happens tomorrow it has been one hell of a season.
The last 12 weeks have been so enjoyable.
Fingers crossed we can do it again.
Good to hear so many Carlton supporters will be there at the game, wish I could have gone.
To those of you who are going enjoy the game and barrack hard.

Good point hammer. Kemp has made such huge gains this year, and I wouldn't have minded if he kept his spot. Either way, he'll be very good for us in years to come.

I do like the idea of Owies for his generally composed finishing, but there's no denying that Motlop had impact last week. I was nervous after the Elim final where I thought Motlop looked a bit overawed when he came on as the sub, but his goals against the Dees were class.

Four changes does seem a lot at this time of year, but we're on a pretty good run so let's see how we go.

Agree with the call for Kennedy as sub.

Just start the @#$%&! game please!!!

I'm not trying to be a smart alec but saying "four changes seems a lot" is a little skewed when contextuaised

We always knew that Martin and McKay were coming back...there's 2 INs which will require 2 OUTs

Hollands has been upgraded from sub to starting 23

Effectively, 1 real change that has surprised some...Boyd for Kemp

Many people on here and social media were making comments about how we'd deal with their smalls. The coaches have thought about that as well and made the changes they believe are necessary

GO BLUES!!!!

[quote="keogh"]I think Kemp is extremely stiff - Maybe, but MC decided that the make up of Bris is different to the make up of Melbourne and intervened accordingly
Boyd obviously is highly viewed internally - I [color=#FFFF00]have no idea how he is viewed. MC see him as the best 'small defender' for this game, which they believe they need
Don’t know why - Your opinion Keogh, and youre entitled to it
Owies has struggled but he is capable of kicking a couple - A minimum of 2 players were always making way for McKay/Martin. He is capable, bu has done himself no favours in the finals
Carlton will need to kick 100 points to win - Maybe, maybe not, if we can make it a contested game with finals intensity...
Baffling - Again, an opinion you're entitled to have

FWIW, my opinion is that if Cotterel and Docherty spend more time up fwd, they can really do some damage and cause disruption to the Bris defence, with Cotterel also more capable than Owies of locking down on a Bris HB if needed

Interesting stat is Doc has been involved in the most score involvements.

I think he's valued elsewhere, than back, but can play anywhere he's needed.

I think Boyd, Saas Newman and Cincotta provide enough small man power in defense to not need Doc back there.

I thought the Swans game we picked our best team for the year.

This week, with the exceptions of Williams and Cuningham is my best 22 team.
I wouldn't have picked Cuningham this week either based on recent form.

So glad to see Boydy in.
So glad to see Marchy ahead of Kemp.

McKay and Martin are forward firepower we missed last week.

Has Boyd been playing in any 'scratch matches'? I'm just concerned about his fitness.
Must admit I thought If Boyd came in it would be to replace Cincotta - surprised to see them both in the side.

He played VFL till it finished and played in the Dees scratch match, and been training really well.

Love it braithy. Mobility is what you've been after and man you got it.

Owies was constantly being selected on the back of being our leading tackler.

Not sure where he sits these days, but last year and earlier this year he was Numero Uno.

Good isn't it. I love it too.

I played footy when I was U12's U13's at Kingsville before moving to the dark side (eastern beaches)

If Pitto can bash McInerney into submission they’ve got no back up. We just need to be super aggressive at their big guys….and Neale.

Just read an article in Perth Now in apple news which came online after 3pm. Kemp talking about who he might be playing on. Tipping a late change.

My thinking is he would have to be the sub at least. There's a good case for all the mergencies.

If we were to see Gov or Marchy re injuring themselves in the heat of battle, then Kemp would be vital, he knows the systems.

If someone further up the ground got injured/ ineffective then Kemp Gov Boyd or Marchy could be released up the ground.

We are a pretty versatile lot and this trend will continue to develop and improve every time we play for years to come..

I feel this is only the beginning of a probable golden era, and the Phoenix of Versatilty is back in our DNA.

Can never shake the thrill I still get thinking about Swan McLay CHB to CHF, Percy in the ruck, Nichols to FF and many more of those Barassi/ Nichols moves, such was our talent in another golden era. Unleashing the speed of Hopkins in a physical Grand Final at half time.

Yep, & Gunston not playing probably made the decision even easier.

He keeps squandering the chances that small forwards need to pounce on.

Not inaccuracy, inaction. Boot to ball. That’s the primary task.
