He's out of contract end of the year isn't he?

This would create stability, avoid a media circus if we have another average start and at 2 years I think it strikes a healthy balance for each party.

55% win rate for Voss - best since Parkin. He's shown he can coach enough to warrant an extension.

Agree.

We have sacked too many coaches in recent years, need some stability.

Agree.

Vossy has earned the contact. He was able to convince the players his mantra of Contest and Pressure was the ticket.

Great leader of men.

Not saying we should sack him, just think that there’s no rush to resign him.

I’ve still got reservations. Was the turnaround players or coaching?

Guess time will tell

Probably both, but I can't see Malthouse/Bolton/Teague getting the same output from the current group.

Who is this SOJ you speak of? Is this the year 2043?

I'd have thought Jack would have been the backup to TdK/Pitto but we'll certainly need to reconsider who the backup is now.

I think we have plenty of coverage up forward. Elijah will take that role and maybe Kemp/Marchbank/McGovern if needed. Flexibility is the name of the game.

As a fill in ruck then I guess it will have to be Lewis or Sam Durdin. Akuei has a huge leap. I hope he is a surprise packet this year. Point of difference maybe.

Vossy will have a plan as required.

What's the latest with Mirkov? Are we just nursing him back to health before we cut him next summer, or is he a chance to break through? O'Keeffe?

Both Mirkov and O'Keefe looked good in match simulation drills last week. Pitto seemed to spend a bit more time forward to improve his craft. He surprisingly moved quite well. The Hollands boys will be the goods if they can avoid injury.
Jack would have struggled for a role in the 22 IMHO.

Back end of 2023 Jack had rediscovered his leap/spring at centre bounce ruck contests - I think we’ll miss him more than we’ll realise

Son of Jo, of course.

Jack wasn’t going to play ruck this year.

Not unless there was an injury or drop in form from Pitto and TDK, and O'Keefe wasn't ready to compete with the big boys.

Looked to me Jack was primarily KPF depth, and great depth at that IMO.

How is that, if you're serious?
