Also difficult to develop players when there was barely a VFL over the last couple of seasons.

Not saying he should be sacked. Am aware he hasn't been there long, but I would have thought some questions at the very least should have been asked of him in light of the review.

I'm sure he answered questions the Review Panel asked.

I'm sure he told them about the shortfalls, and mistakes.

We are lucky to have Power.

From what I was told he loves the list and the comradery.

Fair point. Things haven't been "normal" past 18 months

Dale Tapping former assistant at Brisbane is on our radar for an assistant role.

That’d be good, but the story is a little too obvious after Bruce went north.

Just like Adam Kingsley firming into favouritism during Teague’s negotiations to join Richmond.

Guess we're seeing the result of the review in action and the terminology around the "reset" language being used by Sayers… if you were a coach at Carlton this year, you're not part of our 2022 plans.

McQualter for Teague might be the best trade this club has done since Black Friday.

Good description.

Rose between the thorns.

I spoke with someone who knows him during the year.
He is exactly what you describe. Looked up to by all the blues.
Not a bad word to be said about Power.

Power's more than an Assistant. He, with Cook can clean up the culture problem you allude to.
We may just be great again, sooner than we all think is possible.

Perhaps I didn't articulate myself properly. Sounds like an absolute slaughterhouse yet power was still able to do something constructive. Kudos to Power.

Can't believe you didn't say "more power to him"

Opportunity gone begging right there.
