What does he think of Wallsy's prediction a couple of years ago that he would win the Brownlow one day?

Does he regret kissing Teaguey at last year's B&F awards...and subsequent incriminating pictures? And what was the go with the facial hair on that night?

Does he see himself as being part of our leadership group in the future?

What does he think of stalkers like Sami that spend the entire match taking his picture instead of actually watching the game?

yep, 3 years ago when he was maligned and seemingly disinterested he made a comment in another interview which was interesting.

what was his dream? to own and play in a NBA franchise in the states. Now that he is a little more established (and perhaps interested) how does this comment rate vs playing in a winning premiership with the blues?

amazing that he is already at 100 (i must be getting old)

What the? I'm no stalker. Seriously. I'm not. That is mean haha. I don't stalk players, never have never will.

Houlihan set out on his AFL career pretty quickly, being selected for his debut against the Kangaroos at Optus Oval in Round [ ] of 2000. “It’s a special memory, out there versus Northâ€

It depends on the season; black as head into the darker, more serious weather, and blonde to reflect the light-hearted love of the outdoors that so many of our youth genuinely feel.

Ask him how he felt when the doggie player ran into his arms during the Wiz Cup and he had to lay his first tackle.

Does he think that he wooda been dragged if he used his normal instinct and ran past him towards the line.

Also how come he is among the best palyers in every 100 pt loss we had last yr yet no where to be found in our wins

Is he dreaming of moving to Coburg to end his career with his brothers?

What stat is he more in favour of... Uncontested Possessions or hard ball gets

How come he wasn't among the best against Ess last week.... they are normally his game.

There's a few

SHHHH.... not sure about some of them, but in relation to his game last week, Ryan said that he copped a knock to the knee in the first quarter (you may have seen him limping off?) - the same one that he apparently hurt in the Wizzer Cup GF. He had itstrapped but he said it cost him some mobility - plus he just couldn't get the ball, explaining his record low 6 stats for the game from 97 minutes. He appeared a bit embarrassed with the stats.

Great work Molsey.
Look Houla is carrying a knee and id love to see him rested.
On his back half turnovers its because he plays with flair and tries alot of things that other defenders would dare not do.
Houla is a gun and if were going to take a step up this year IMO Houlla is going to be a building block.
Massive talent!
Stop bagging him.

Would it be worth resting Houlihan and have Kade fill his spot for the weeks that Ryan is out?

PJ - not in the week of his 100th!@!!

but, Ryan was adamant that he'd taken afew knocks to it only, that there was nothing structurally wrong. Of course, i'm just some ring-in volunteer so he was unlikely breach the club's confidence with me, but he really did seem to be saying that it was just a bit sore.

Ah yes, his 100th.
Totally forgot.
Perhaps the week after.

Have to have a reason to justify Kade's selection in the side.
I don't like seeing him as a "filler" as some of you have put it.

I hear what you're saying PJ, and look we've both seen a lot of him at VFL level so we know he is better than that (eventually)... but I called him a filler from DP's point of view. I just get the feeling that Pagan will use Simmo sparingly - after all, Davies andBetts are the forward pockets, and Carrots is doing brilliantly as the back pocket - really, its Slimmo v Wiggins and Prenders and guys like that for the utility, spare defender roles... and given his size, he just can't beat them .... yet.

I just hope Carlton fans realise that - I'm sick of the lets cut Simmo crap, he will be a key player but I fear won't be given the opportunity for a little while yet.

Been critical of Houlihan over the years but he has improved and the lack of disposal stats didnt do justice to his game last week. He made some big tackles and and actually held players up unlike a couple of his teamates who couldnt lay a finger on the likes of Mark Johnson.
Maybe its the weights program but he looks a more confident player in regards to the physical sie of the game and while he wont be the next Glen Archer I think you have to give the man full credit for changing his game style and having a go at improving his weak areas..for me he played a very good game last week and as is aid on another thread was Teague like in his approach to tackling and putting the body on the line....and with an injury...

Great article molsey. Quick question but - what was with the golfing reference in the last sentence?

abit further up in the article i talk about him as a part time golfer. he doesn't have a job, footy / golf are his life. so i was trying to bring the conclusion back to something light / witty.... and failed by teh sound of it!

Ah, cool. Missed that part, was looking for what he said.

Had I paid more attention as I was reading it, that might have seemed witty.
