Next year when we play Bitchmond, I’d bring in Reidy and tell him to show us what he’s been holding back!!!
Fight fire with fire….
Would be a nice change. But good luck with that.
We bought him in to help Pitto soften up Grundy in round zero: you know 2 against 1.
Grundy monstered Reidy. Reidy didnt like making contact: Ackland style.
Played like an AFLW player.
Looks like Tarzan in the gym, plays like Jane on the field
Never want to see him in our AFL team again, until he shows that sort of aggression in the VFL.
I'd rather put Dean, or even Cowan up against Nankervis in the CB for the impact you're looking for.
2 rucks just didn’t work for us and I’d be hesitant in trying again for now. HoK can play forward though.
Reidy’s game is supposed to be agrresion. If he can’t display that, as no.1 ruck, then we have wasted a 3 year contract.
We all know he has little athleticism.
Two rucks works for Freo, Saints, Hawks, Swans, Cats have 4

etc etc but not for us.
We could, with Pitto and TDK, but Pitto would have to be No 1 because only TDK could play Forward of the 2.
Why not now?
Pittonet is not they player he was in 2023-4, and much too slow to play as a 3rd tall.
Reidy is even slower and doesn't like contact. Thus far it looks as we have wasted a 3 year contract.
We have 2 rucks who can't play forward and new ruck rules work against them.
HOK. I want to keep him for another year incase he turns things around.
He was better last year after missing 3 months hamstrung.
He completed a full preseason and his hands are harder than ever and he's not jumping at CB.
There's a reason we use our one and only KPF in the ruck
There's a reason we added Riley as our 5th Ruck option.
Conundrum. Do we roll the dice with Riley?
Lucky Reeves will miss another game this week.
