Late in training the last two weeks you get the impression that just about everyone is encouraged to practise shooting for goal and put their hand up for time in the forward line.

I can say with 100% certainty that the emerging leaders group requested JR's involvement in the group last year and the decision was left to Ratts. Didn't happen last year but would not be surprised if it did this year. JR is well regarded by our young stars.

Talk about resurrection... This kid used to be the fans punching bag and now presents himself like a pro both on and off the field. Takes real heart to persist and do what he s done.. Good on him... was a pleasure listening to him... Wish u all the best for 2010 JR im glad youve made me eat my words...

Russell has always presented well to the media, and is an articulate player. He always struck me as very introspective for a player, and I think took the 'hits' on his form very hard.

Russell, Jamison and Hampson are all very smart guys who I'd trust with the media. Carrazzo is also a ripper guy and talks very well.

Russell presents well and doesn't talk in 'yeah, nah's', leadership group beckons.

I'm glad to see a bit of positive press. Also glad to hear from JR - I think he will have an excellent year!

Tumi2 mentions the emerging leaders group. I hadn't heard of it before (sorry if I've been hiding under a rock). Can anybody tell me a little about it and who is currently a member?
