Anyone else remember that bit of commentary and the game? 10 points if you get it.

Carlton V West Coast (Princes Park).

1994 ???? I think

Commentator was Sandy Roberts

One of the greatest Carlton goals I have seen !!

A few from Jack Dyer:

"He's a good ordinary footballer!"

"An Essendon* supporter is a collingwood supporter who can read and write"

"I hate collingwood so much, I won't watch a black and white movie!"

"His long arms reach up like giant testicals!"

Everyone remembers the mark but how many remember that Jezza kicked the sealer in the 1970 GF.

"Ball into the Collingwood forward line, McKenna pushed in the back... no free, (Collingwood supporters go ape droppings)... ball rebounds forward of centre for Carlton, Jesaulenko swoops, puts it on the left foot.... to an open goal square.... its bouncing, its bouncing....... (and then pandemonium!!)

May not be a word perfect quote but gotta love that

Or this (no need to specify the game)

"Carlton 1 point ahead....Wallis grabs the ball.... runs through the centre.....BROWN!...... ball spills free... Murphy swoops, chips to Ratten..... Oh my god.... Ratten to Murphy...he's appealing for the 50... I think times nearly up....... SIREN (pandemonium, Murphy throws ball in air, RickJ throws son in air)

(Apologies for getting off thread, couldnt help it)

Unforgettable- "THEY'VE GOT TO MATCH UP KOUTA HERE. HE COULD RIP THEIR HEARTS OUT!"- Gerard Healy, 1999 Preliminary Final.
