So he's stripped of the captaincy.

Who else on our list displays the same leadership on the field and at training? Who else on our list leads by example?

Because looking over the list, I can't see anyone.

Kade Simpson and Andrew Carazzo.

But yeh, I wouldn't be stripping him.

Well maybe the club needs to work with CJ on his off field performance as a leader.

Its well known that Brendan Fevola has a serious gambling problem and his captain is sinking scotches with him in the mahogany room at crown hours before they are to attend a AFL black tie event.

I love Chris Judd like everyone else here, but he had no choice to become leader of the club when he might not have wanted the job.

2 b&f's in 2 years, All Australian captain while carrying an injury all year, Judd can't change things overnight.

Nobody's perfect and we all make mistakes. Judd is the man for now, easily.

Hey guys, I'm still a newbie n don't post much as yet but reading this threat I had to post. Judd is a million times better then the next captain in waiting, whoever that may be. Does anyone at our club train as hard as Judd, the man has more talent then anyone but still works his ass off, makes the rest of the boys follow him. No one works harder then him in a game, the boys know they gotta work as hard as there captain in a game. Judd does things on the field none of the other guys can do which inspires his teammates. That's some pretty good leadership skills right there, he may be lacking in other areas, but a captain has to have an aura about them, in some way, be it by browns tuffness, or judds brilliance. There is no one at our club presently that has that aura, maybe Gibbs when his body fills out, but til then, Judd all the way

Davo, I think you're right. There's been a fair degree of hysteria on here lately given the sheer number of negative incidents experienced, that could, and should have been avoidable and avoided by our boys. We all thought 2009 was the upswing but the last 3 months has been appalling.

At the end of the day there's Judd and daylight.

No, no need for that Goltz. It's been an emotional time and the Club has been shed in an extremely poor light. No harm in asking the question.

I can't wait until we're on the front foot again.

Why? For putting the heat on a Captain who isn't living up to the great leader so many believe he is!!

Why do you think Judd has come out and made so many statements since the 4th Jan? He has had the acid put on him to lift his game as he should.

Fair enough we might not have a standout replacement at this time, but the publicity and number of responses is proof in itself the topic is very real and valid.

Maybe you should take a break if you can't add to the discussion?

@#$%&! me dead.

Is this silly thread still going? :banghead:

IMO, the thread just doesn't seem to have a TC fit despite all the replies in the thread.

And how many times have they told us that :banghead:

Yeah, why did that pop up again in this story?
Which player was that "seasoned drinker"?
Apparently the Carlton Story Translator doesn't contain his name.

'SNIP'
Just been having a look at the Demons board and there's a thread about Casboult, one about Judd, another about our sponsors and I gather that's just the tip of the iceberg. Bitterness about Judd coming to Carlton, Johnson and McLean defecting, Warnock coming to Carlton. It's a tough life being a Demons supporter it would appear.

Love the optimism...Melbourne are going to be rapidly rising up the ladder and Carlton are going to be treading water, and in a couple of years Melbourne will be so good Judd will want to jump ship and join them.

No, Judd went to Carlton at just the right time in your cycle at the end of your bottoming out period and only had the direct cost of the trade = Kennedy, "Masten", "Notte" - there was no flow on effect. If Judd had come to Melbourne he would have cost us something like Frawley, Morton, Maric and then we would have immediately improved and he would have cost us Watts, Blease, Scully, Trengove and Tapscott (instead of that 5 we might have had say Rich and Butcher).

In: Judd, Rich, Butcher
Out: Frawley, Morton, Maric, Watts, Blease, Scully, Trengove and Tapscott

For Carlton Judd was a good deal, for us - too expensive.

In a year or two the Demons will be up there. They've built a good, talented young list that if they get everything right could actually do some damage.

Yep, they learned their lesson after the 2007 Kreuzer Cup debacle and have accumulated some great young talent. They'll be a team to beat soon.

If Lovett gets done for this alleged crime then St Nick surely must be held accountable !

So its a landslide.

Who would've thought

Juddy is the best thing that happened to the Carlton Football Club in a long time when he chose us.

I for one will not be clicking on this thread again as i think its been discussed at length.............

Just look at the poll results at the top of the page............
