..if it is a spur on the hip, and not OP then i'm actually quite relieved.. ..definately the 'lesser of two evils'.... ..as others have said, Krooz had similar and it hasn't stopped him....

On the weekend, I was lead to believe that this was a bit more serious than first reported.

There could be a possibility that he could be out for half a season

Before Christmas I was told he would resume full training in mid-Jan. He continued with light running, weights, pilates etc over the Christmas/New Year period so he's obviously aggravated something or something else has been uncovered to require surgery. If we're talking adductor release surgery, he's looking at 8 weeks on the sidelines before coming back to full training, but naturally will have no match fitness. Fingers crossed it's as minor as what they're saying, but I have my suspicions it's not.

I got a feeling there is more to it than whats being reported. With Juddy and Waite to miss the first few, Jammo and Warnock being underdone, No Fev and Stevens, possibly no Murph, a tough draw, the fallout from sacking Fev and the booze cruise lupe fiasco they could be thinking that some members might not sign up in 2010.

As positive as im trying to stay i got this sinking feeling about our 2010 season.

Perhaps he tripped on Eddie Betts' finger.

Gibbs and Krooz will rally the troops and we will win the first 3 !

Well all those attractive, intelligent people at the save Fevola rally aren't, and hopefully all the closet Richmond supporters on TC @#$% off over to thepuntroadend.com! and buy Richmond memberships so they can eat their own without fear of ridicule.

We are screwed!

We really need this like a hole in the head

It shouldn't be.

We should lose to Brisbane.

But should win against Richmond in round 1 and in round 3 (Judd returns
in round 4 I think).

So 2-1.

Look we really should win.

If we don't serious questions need to be asked of Hughes.

I have said for a while he has not recruited depth, he' sonly done well with easy picks
and has been beneficial to have had fev alread yat the club excusing his lack of key
forward recruits.

This year we start minus Judd and Fev and maybe Murph.

now obviously you wouldn't push top four without those three but we should be able to win
in rounds 1 and 3 considering the oppositio nwe are playing.

We will see...

..a crappy season start due to off-field discretions and injury cannot be a recruiter's fault..

Yes but if we can't beat Richmond because we're missing Judd and Fev that is Hughes' fault.

Richmond have lost Richardson and as we all know never got the benefit of poaching Judd.

But nevertheless we should still be able to beat them without Judd, Fev and Murph.

If we can't it highlights what critics of Hughes have been saying (before they get banned), that he simply hasn't done the job with his later picks.

The tigers will be in tank mode. We'll spiflicate them no matter who we're missing.

We should, they're sh*t.

Had to rely on Jordan Mcmahon to get them over the line against a tanking Mlebourne

Pretty good with the rookies.

Armfield and Brown are good depth players.

I agree though. We have the players to win 2 out of 3 and as i said earlier Gibbs and big K will marshall the troops and we will get those wins. Just wouldnt blame hughes if we dont win. It seems a little out of left field that anyone would.

If Murph does miss the early games, the Lucas has to be blooded straight away IMO. Also might need to give Walker an early reprieve and get him out there from Game 1.

Being without Judd and Murph is a massive blow, let's not pretend otherwise. Hughes' decision to draft midfield depth is not looking so silly now. I still can't believe the way people try to find a way to blame everything on him.

I hope Waite pulls up for round 1, can't bear to lose to the Tigers first up
