All the posts agree that what is going on within the playing group is totally unacceptable.

The question appears to be, what to do about it. Responses range from boys will be boys so do nothing, to blow Visy Park up and start again.

I reckon we should think laterally, something I know the AFL and Dumbmetriou are probably incapable of doing.

There should be several draft periods during the year. This is a great reason why. As an example, because St.Kilda got dudded on Lovett wouldn't they love to get Walker/Houlihan etc.

They are 2 of my favourite players, but if it is going to make a statement to the rest of the playing group without weakening the group as a whole by replacing them with other players then why not?

ON THE 4TH OF JAN

No footies are kicked or handballed
All players go into a room where sticks, Ratts and Swannie will tell
Robinson
Betts
Houlihan
Walker
to clean their flower locker out and have a spell from the club to think about what right they have to act like tools particularly when our previous FF got the arse and only one club wanted him

If someone else was involved in chaining the kid so he has to drink with his heroes to the point he passes out they should go and clean their locker out for 6 months

This should be done in full view of all the players

Of course ideally it should be the leadership group that hands out the penalties
Problem with that as our leadership group was on the boat and our as weak as piss Judd included

Interesting day the 4th will be.

What was the name of that leadership development team that the club has employed?

Hear what you are saying, only there may be a slight problem with players clearing out lockers. According to a caller today on radio, (he knows one of the new Carlton players), ALL of the new draftees and trades where bound to a senior player and had to match drinks. We may have a very short playing list available.

I guess none of new boys had a pair of pliers and a blow torch.

Leading Teams. They have an excellent record with a number of AFL clubs, and Melbourne Storm.
