Fevola, Houilehan and Lappin used to swap jumpers at training.

Sounds from the article that Hoops was off his melon, wandering the halls in his Reg Grundies, tried a move on some bird that he knew, she screamed, security to the rescue, fracas ensues. Walks tries to get involved/get hoola out of there etc and he becomes involved in the fight with security. Frankly I'm amazed Houla had it in him.........a girl in the late night lobby at Crown Casino is the 1st tackle he has made in 2 seasons.

Soooo.........the big question now, what will the punishment be. I thought giving our best player away was supposed to cure all of this! Houla must go...........surely. Lets just give players away until we are left with a non controversial team!!!

Enough is enough.

Whilst we should never over react, why the bloody hell does this happen.

This shits me beyond belief, having to read about my club, our club in this way.

whilst i dont condone what these boys did...i have seen grown men 30+ do worse.

They are in a position where they cant even fart in public. They do need to be punished. Houlihan is a disgrace, he is a 10 year player now.

DOA, has the club punished the boys?

Geez not again!!! Will be interesting to see how this is dealt with. Most interesting thing here is that players like Houla and Walks have a fair bit of competition for spots in the seniors this year with guys like Robinson, Lucas, Davies, Cachia, Dare etc all pressing for selection. Wonder if this will hinder there opportunities at all.

Very disappointing. Blues made a massive statement with their treatment of Fevola and if they have the guts to follow through with their actions I dont think we have heard the last of this....

I could be wrong but it sounds to me like Houla was the trouble starter here whilst Walks came in at the end to help a mate. Houla could bare the brunt of it here so stay tuned.....

I'm still fascinated why anyone would want to go to Crown.

Read the Age article for a more level-headed recounting of the events. From the looks of it, Houlihan started yelling to a woman (possibly the Mrs), security got involved, Andrew stepped in to try and sort it out and it went from there. No charges laid.

If this is true (and bearing in mind the details are sketchy after that) I expect Andrew to cop a fine, and for Houlihan to cop either a bigger fine or miss games as the instigator. It's disappointing Andrew would even put himself in that position (at least put your pants on boy!) given the patience shown and effort made by the club to get him right. Hoops on the other hand, had better find Jesus quickly.

Disappointing esp re Houla, bec he has form a long time ago, and I think some of us probably saw him as maybe the last bad egg after Stevo and Fev left.

Walks now a bad egg, or at least some might view it that way.

No Fev, Stevo, Judd in Rs 1-3, might as well ban two more for those 3 games and draw a line in the sand at the club

Have to be fair dinkum, even if it hurts us in terms of wins/losses

But we know kids like Garlett, Robbo and Browne will put in 100%, and McLean is a new acquisition, as is Hendo, so we probably have enough numbers to cover the 5 OUTS in rounds 1-3.

I'm surprised Fevola wasn't there. He would be in Melbourne for the birth.

This should blow over pretty quick.

Does Hoops actually want his contract renewed??
Sure doesn't seem like it.

I saw most of the Carlton boys at Eve nightclub on Saturday night.

Most of them were off their tree and one in particular was acting like a complete tool (he will be a second year player next year from Tasmania). The lack of respect he showed to Juddy was disgraceful.

I feel sorry for Juddy...he's 26 years old and has to act like a father figure to most of our peanut players!!!
