I have been wearing my BLUES Guernsey with the number 25 on the back for the last 4 years to all the games.

With FEV gone I will need to buy next season top and put a new players number on the back.


Question is WHO?

Well, 8 would be good.

3,460 wouldn't work at all.

You could do 25.1, and tell people it's the updated version of Fevola.

3 and 4 and 5 are popular.

11 is a nice number because of its symmetry. But it's really hard for mum to iron on perfectly, and if you get it just a bit wrong, you're screwed.

You could do 666, and you probably won't get hassled at games.

Or you could tell the world you support the team, and not just any particular player, and go for 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12 etc... in small numbers. Or simplify it by going 1-50.

Or just pick your favourite player, and put his number on your back, I guess.

More information needed. If the '25' is a sew on then in the current global downturn, I would recommend reversing the numbers to create '52'. Then have a bet with your mates that the "number '52' will be worn by a Carlton player in season 2010". They'll jump at the chance to take your money, with the knowledge that the Carlton property steward will have spare jumpers for each player with their current number. Then, take your jumper down to training and ask a player if he'll put it on. Take a photo of said player in the number '52' - take the money from your mates and with said money, purchase a new #8 Carlton jumper from the Carlton shop and get the big fella to sign it...'Matthew Kreuzer, 2010 Brownlow Medalist' and take photo. When he wins this years Brownlow - put the jumper on eBay. With the profits from your sale you can sponsor the young man who will wear number 52 in 2011!

Thanks for the concern Dr but i will purchase a brand spanka for 2010 as well as go down to Rebel and pay $25 for them to put the official afl numbers on for me.

just cant decide what number to put on.

i was thinking 8 because they kid is a freak and will be a club legend and then i think about going 45 purely because i love this tough kid and would want to support him.

I bet 2 years ago A.J never thought people would be getting his number on the tops but now he is many supporters top 10 player.
