Just in case you missed it here is a brief summary.
Was asked about the trade and how it came about.
Lachie and his manager Ricky Nixon discussed a possible move on the Wednesday/Thursday of trade week.
Nixon approached Greg Swann and said the Lachie might be interested in moving would the Blues be interested. This was only after Bradshaw and Rischitelli refused the trade.
Lachie's main reason to move was for more opportunity to play forward, was not the homesick factor.
Did learn alot from J Brown and D Merrett when playing in the backline.
Spoke to Ratten briefly on Friday of trade week and Ratts talked to him about the club and where we are heading.
Is excited about being involved with a young team and all the young kids are keen to learn.
Has only spoken to Juddy 3-4 times since his arrival. Is impressed with Juddy professionalism and the way he goes about his training.
His body is good, other that a few niggles, but should be full steam ahead in the next week.
Aspects of his game that he is focusing on - his second and third efforts, has been a bit one pace and is looking to improve that and is also doing alot of marking practise.
KB said that he and Kruezer could be the twin towers up forward for the next 10 years and his response was I hope so, that would be good.
Seems like a well spoken mature kid, I'm excited about seeing him wearing the navy blue. Lets just hope that we persist and play him as a forward, instead of trying to turn all our young tall kids into backmen.

Good summary, I heard the interview and you covered pretty much all that he said. Lets just hope there isnt too much pressure placed on him to be the replacement for Fev by all the supporters.

My understanding is we asked Brisbane about him on Monday of trade week.

I missed the interview, but hopefully it will up on their pod cast page soon.

He is obviously on media street this week, on 3AW and SEN during the week and there is an article in the HUN tomorrow on him.

It's interesting to see Carltons top 10 players listed in the Guernsey club documentation. Henderson and McLean are listed among the top 10.
Personally, I'd prefer to see Lachlan get a year under his belt and gain a regular spot in our team first.
